I'm probably in the minority here but I do not see a big PJ25 celebration like PJ20. All I am expecting is a west coast run in the Fall. The Spring Tour, Wrigley and Fenway, and the potential west coast leg is the PJ25 celebration. PJ20 was a special one time thing and I don't see them doing that again.

I think you're right about this.
"This afternoon, Pearl Jam bassist Jeff Ament and manager Kelly Curtis took part in a Twitter Q&A, revealing some of their plans for 2016, as Alternative Nation points out.
Curtis confirmed that Pearl Jam will tour in 2016, with the first batch of dates to be announced at the beginning of the year. He mentioned Tampa, Florida and Canada as among the planned stops.
Additionally, he said the band has something planned to mark their 25th anniversary, but couldn’t share any specifics. If you recall, Pearl Jam celebrated their 20th anniversary with a three-day music festival. "

I kinda agree. I want Fenway to be a full throttle Pearl Jam only concert. Not a stop start affair trying to shoehorn in a dozen special guests.

I'm sure it will be a full throttle pj show... I'm not saying this is a roaming festival with special guests... I just think this ends up being a great way for fans in all 3 time zones to celebrate 25 years of Pearl Jam...
Seattle may be more of a festival with different acts and special guests... but I don't think the current stadium shows will be like yhat... but I do think the theme of those stadium shows will be celebrating 25 years, culminating in Seattle

"Please welcome to the stage...Corin Tucker!"
NOOOOOOO!!!
Nothing against her personally, but the encores of so many 2003 boots are unlistenable because of her. Just not a good compliment to the band's music.

No I'd find a way lol. I just don't see it happening. Does anybody have any substantial info on MSG 3?
I think Wrigley 2 will be my 24th show. I remember Vancouver 2011 being my 20th on the PJ20 tour. Hopefully they'res some western dates this year or next to average me back up
I'm holding onto a PJ 25 celebration. However they "do" it. It may or may not be a destination weekend, special guests etc.. I still think it will be announced it as their 25th anniversary special show. If it's near Seattle great, middle of the country, awesome...Northeast (yay!). But There is plenty of time between now and August. If there is no PJ25...well, then I can get a ticket to the other night at Fenway closer to the date.
Thank you fellow 10 clubber for saving my ass....again!!!

Ben Harper puts in plenty of work... going to see him in April as a matter of fact
if they play a total of 25 shows in 2016 to celebrate 25 years, that's pretty clever by them... and they might just be doing that... and having the actual PJ25 Seattle event happen over the course of possibly their 1,000th show? these guys nailed this thing if that is the setup

If they planned 2016 so spot on I'd wonder how the hell they had PJ10/PJ20 eleven years apart
