Memorial Stadium? I still say vegas makes more sense. Especially if pj25 is the only show or shows out west.

PJ 25 = 8/27 @ Seattle, final stop of the Summer tour

Maybe they will start the West Coast Tour in Seattle on Saturday August 27th. PJ25. 25th anniversary of Ten. From Seattle, make their way up to Vancouver, Edmonton & Calgary. Then work they way down to end the tour is Austin, Texas. Something like that.
No west coast without new stuff. Seattle, that's it. Maybe cities like Boise between Chicago and Seattle

I get that people want them to play Seattle and many want PJ25 to be in Seattle...but why do people want them to play Safeco?

Would they schedule a concert in Seattle the same weekend as Dave Matthews at the Gorge? It seems like you would have a lot of fans that would be interested in both shows and it would hurt attendance at either of them.

Mariners are at home... Bumbershoot is that weekend... DMB is at The Gorge as usual... and I still think they will do it on Labor day weekend

BUT, to be fair these are all very valid issues for that weekend...

This and bumbershoot that weekend I think pretty much rules out pj in Seattle labor day weekend. Pretty much every venue is already booked that weekend and with all that music already taking place why bother trying to compete with all that.

For the record.. Memorial Stadium is the biggest piece of shit venue PJ has ever played in the
States. I was there in 98 and the shows were legendary but the Stadium SUCKED. I doubt they will ever play there again.

There is less than a ZERO percent chance of this happening. That would make it 5 days in a row with shows. They haven't even played on 3 consecutive days since 2005.

    Hey All,

Question for those familiar with Miami Airport and the area:

My wife and I are hitting the Fort Lauderdale and Miami shows (can't wait!) and since we have to work half days that Friday, we're flying from Boston and are due to land at 5pm Friday. So I figure we have 3 hours to rent a car, get to the BB&T Center and to the GA Pit. Just paraoid that the traffic is horrendous, etc. That seem like enough time to get to the venue, grab some beers, and a spot by 8pm?

Also, this thread is absolutely awesome! Looking forward to meeting some folks in Florida, South Carolina, and at the Fenway shows!

I would highly recommend flying into Fort Lauderdale instead of Miami if possible...
It's a smaller airport, but very nice and serviced by most of the major airlines!!

Thanks for the response! I think the only other flight option we could take to Fort Laud lands at 620. I figured landing in Miami at 5 is better than Fort Laud at 620

    That's a tough call...
The Fort Lauderdale airport is only 20 minutes from the venue,
and the airport is MUCH smaller than MIA, so you can get out very quickly...
but I agree the 6:20 arrival time is cutting it pretty close!!
I've flown into both airports many times and know what a hassle MIA can be,
with a 5pm arrival you'll be lucky to get out of the terminal and thru the rental car center by 6pm
plus the traffic headed out of town on 75 can be pretty bad on a Friday evening.
It's probably a wash time-wise with that 6:20 arrival time in FLL,
but I think I'd still fly into Fort Lauderdale.
Smaller airport...closer to the venue...I-75 traffic issue.
Safe travels and I hope you have a GREAT tour!! :rock_on:
