Pearl Jam Coming To Oz? Pearl Jam might be close to confirming an Australian tour after dropping a suggestive Twitter update
On their official Twitter page Pearl Jam advised fans, "We will be announcing tour dates the first part of year."
The band have been doing some big shows in South America, while Peal Jam's manager Kelly Curtis admitted the band were in the studio writing new material.
“They are always in and out of the studio and constantly writing,” he said.
Next year will be the band's 25th anniversary.
The last time they were here was in 2014 for the Big Day Out.
Am I missing something? Where in that information does it suggest anything about Australia? Doesn't say it's not, doesn't hint it anywhere though.

Complete speculation on my part here but AC/DC have just announced a show at the Olympic Park in London, UK, on June 4th, there's no way that the staging and everything else will be set up for just that show and as PJ haven't done a London show for what will be 6 years I'm thinking that this may well be an opportunity to play a good size outdoor venue.London, Hyde Park 25/6/10

Many pages ago I stated that a friend of mine at Universal Netherlands was offered tickets for the 8th of june in the Ziggo Dome Amsterdam by Universal. Today he told me that he got a refund for the tickets because it was cancelled. Company explicatly told in the mail that no reason was given.
Now I can only hope the coming announcement includes european dates.0 -
Umm, no. AC/DC has their own stage that looks "weird" compared to the standard "box" stage setups used my most bands. They will setup their stage and tear it down and ship it to the next city (or the city after that, since they most likely have 2 or 3 stages). Just like they do night after night on tour.VillagePJ said:Complete speculation on my part here but AC/DC have just announced a show at the Olympic Park in London, UK, on June 4th, there's no way that the staging and everything else will be set up for just that show and as PJ haven't done a London show for what will be 6 years I'm thinking that this may well be an opportunity to play a good size outdoor venue.

I'm an Aussie traveling USA last week October / first week November 2016.. Man I'll be gutted if they hit oz during that time and I miss em whilst in the states... But they have only played Nov or March (except the shifty Big Day Out in Jan 14') so I could be pushing it..... Hopefully late November!!!!
Really hoping I'll be able to see them in the states somewhere tho!!Post edited by Carlislebj on0 -
