    I'm well aware of GW Bush and his "with us or against us" comments, I don't need the American political history lesson, but I appreciate the effort.

    It was humorous, but still - what is the point of terrorism? It is to keep us from living our lives in freedom, free from fear and oppression. If a single act of terrorism bans the whole of Europe from a tour, they win. They already won our airports, our privacy rights etc - dont let them win our music / culture as well!

    Theres no factual concreate threat in Europe. No more than in the US at least.

    Call me a rat, but I'd go if it was an open field with no security around any day.

    Just speculatiin but if they didn't feel they could control the security situation as well in Europe as they can in the US, I could understand that. It's a judgement call. Gang bangers have turf they like to control. I don't want to give in to them either, but I may take the family on a different route to play it safe.

    I saw another guy claiming 7 shows at wrigley next summer. James Taylor, Billy Joel, 2 PJ shows, GNR, Metallica, and Led Zeppelin. Yes he said Led Zeppelin. Says they will all be announced in march except for the already announced James Taylor obviously.

    Dude IF there really was a euro tour in the works and then IF those plans were scrapped, it certainly had NOTHING to do with terrorism! Word is they could be playing wrigley field July 1st & 2nd. If they had the offer on the table and these were the only dates open for them to do it, I could see them choosing to play wrigley instead of the euro tour. They can always play Europe some other time and this is likely the only time they ever play wrigley again.
