Yes. MMJ just finished a full national tour where they hit basically every area. Crazy idea, right?
MMJ did 2, 3 or even 4 night runs in MANY cities on the tour... I saw 2 nights in a row in Detroit, Columbus and Minneapolis this year!! PLUS they never repeat a song during these multiple shows
Mmj doesn't play for almost three hours, and I bet respectively for each lead singer, the one for pj puts in about 3 to 4 times as much work, both physically and on his vocal cords. What I would LOVE, if we were to compare the two bands, and pj take something away from Mmj, is to have no repeats On multiple night runs. May be hard as 50k people probably want to see pj each night and the band knows some will get shut out of one of two, but I don't know anyone that will be bummed to go to a show and not hear alive
I don't get the singer comment. Jim James seems to work his ass off.

i'm with you dude, perhaps these people have only seen them as openers in 06? could be off on the year. but ive seen them a coupe times besides that and there is nothing cookie cutter about their shows.

Sounds like a lot of people are thinking Monday due to the lack of pre-announcement hoopla, and what some radio and industry types have said. It might be the day, Monday might be the day, or it might be another day. It's all good... they'll fill us in when it's appropriate. It sounds like 2016 will be a fun year!

I will just add that I have seen MMJ a few times and they are awesome but I think the major difference is not the energy, but the vocals on some PJ songs tear Ed's voice up making it difficult to over book him. My 2 cents

indeed but since his back injury he is much more stationary where as ed is basically working out on a treadmill at 11 mph...

im a huge mmj fan and just saw 4 spectacular shows, but jim doesnt have to sing songs liek blood every night, if he did, he would probably not be able to do 3 nights in a row. and pj shows are 30 to 45 minutes longer. add that up and after 3 nights its almost an extra show. i friggin love mmj, im simply speaking objectively, no reason to get upset, theyre both AWESOME bands that play pure rock n roll. something that is sadly becoming extinct
Looking like a monday announcement at the earliest. Just seems like such a short time to have the lottery if the public onsale is really next friday. Tweet tomorrow, announcement monday, 3 day lottery then public sale. I guess its possible but...
I'm still holding out hope for tomorrow. This many pages into the thread I don't even remember where the Dec 4th rumor came from!?!?!
Why does the lottery have to start on a weekday? Announce today. Get your memberships/payment info set. Lottery starts Saturday. It's a computer program. It runs itself
I'm basically just checking in a few times a day....I have a big Christmas list this year so I personally would like a January announcement! I'm sure i"m in the minority
As long as something close to the rumors actually HAPPEN I'll be happy! Now bf is talking going south and coming back home for Philly and Hartford. Maybe a 5 -7 show tour for us.
Thank you fellow 10 clubber for saving my ass....again!!!

The lottery starts as soon as the dates are announced.
They don't allow new members, or people who have let their membership expire access to the presale once the tour dates are announced. (At least, that's how they've run every other lottery )
