If Pittsburgh doesnt make the cut, I might go on a baby punching spree.
The good news is that Sidney Crosby isn't that hard to find
that felt good

Yep. It would be pretty funny if ALL these rumored dates posted for USA, Canada & Europe were not happening at all. That Pearl Jam is taking a break. RNDM is touring this May & ED is doing a Spring Solo Tour. Just imagine if that happens? ..
Hilton is going to have to restate 1Q2016 earnings if that happens.
Looking like a monday announcement at the earliest. Just seems like such a short time to have the lottery if the public onsale is really next friday. Tweet tomorrow, announcement monday, 3 day lottery then public sale. I guess its possible but...

I'm still holding out hope for tomorrow. This many pages into the thread I don't even remember where the Dec 4th rumor came from!?!?!

Yeah I'm really starting to question the validity of all these rumors. If I remember right the announcement was originally rumored to happen last month. We've had no tweets, emails, or any other hints from the band or 10c that an announcement is coming.

most reliable thing so far it seems to me has been that rr guy with the foo fighters avatar. He claimed long ago the announcement wouldnt be until the 11th. He said he didnt know for sure what was happening on the 11th, but that something was (general or 10c) announcement.

I think it is safe to say a spring 2016 tour is happening... I don't think the whole thing has gone to shit... the questions is what dates made the cut and when will it be announced?
some of the cities they already hit on the lightning bolt tour I would be a little worried about... it seems 100% philly & nyc is happening... but maybe some of the previous lightning bolt tour cities such as Pittsburgh wont be happening? if you're going to cut some dates then I would bet they look to cut some towns they already hit
I know they played Pitt in 2013... I attended charlotte so I know they had a lightning bolt show... how about buffalo, cant remember, did they have a show in 2013? any other 2016 rumored dates have a show in 2013 or 2014 besides philly & nyc?

Pittsburgh and Buffalo both had shows in 2013. Lexington hasnt been hit since 2003, Cleveland, Cbus and Indy since 2010.

Buffalo had a show in 2013. I think you are spot-on with your theory there. If shows are going to be cut, they are likely going to try to keep their commitments to play cities that have not had shows since pre-LB and cut places like Pittsburgh/Buffalo/Charlotte/Hartford. That's why I always thought Hartford was the long-shot to Albany, but it seems like maybe neither will happen.
NYC and Philly are a different story. They could sell out two shows every year and are both among the band's top 5 markets in the US.

I've never seen a show in either city (except Global citizen) but I would agree. Always the fastest to sell out, even with 2 nights.

My two Hartford shows, 2008 and 2013, were incredible and both times I was shocked at how much the band seemed to love the city. I'm still hoping that Friday 5/6 date still happens.
We went to both Philly shows last time, and it was amazing! I also had a cheeseless cheesesteak (I hate cheese), which was delicious, and I ran up the Rocky stairs. Philly is a great city.
Please, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue!
