What I would give for it to be at the State Theatre. Or "the fillmore." But I'm not sure we'll ever get to see a show that intimate again - at least not in Detroit.

It really seems like they have decided to not go through with Euro tour. Rock Werchter would definitly have announced them today before tomorrow's start of the ticket sale... It could be Monday of course but that wouldn't make any sense... That means flying to the other side of the ocean next year (also nice )
Detroit?! Man, If Detroit, Pitt and Buffalo are all being considered... WHERE'S CLEVELAND

Werchter is announcing the last headliner in about 90 minutes. Don't think PJ would skip the festival if the tour is still on. We'll see.
maybe any euro tour is being cut short or rearranged if Wrigley is July as some have suggested so Werchter would be off ? or maybe im clutching at straws
I would be shocked if Detroit was suddenly on the tour schedule, but stranger things have happened...
Not that shocked. If Fenway and Wrigley are in discussion, then not out of the realm of possibility for Comerica Park to be on there as well. Saw the Stones there this summer. It sets up pretty well for a show.

Apparently Werchter was not on the original info, people just jumped to conclusions when somebody noticed that they are about to announce headliners at about the same time.

Ford Field or Comerica would be ok with me.
Agreed.

Where do the Wrigley and Fenway rumours come from? Is it just someone's wishful thinking getting amplified over and over again?
That's probably the case. Someone says "I sure hope we get a Wrigley show again." And someone else says "That would be amazing!" and then someone says "That would make so much sense". But time will tell.
"Must I keep explaining my decisions to you strangers of the Internet?" - Merch tent 8/19/16
Or "I called the venue and they said that they don't have any information at the moment but when they know more they will post it" => instant confirmation.

Not out of the realm of possibility - they are talking about Canada, close to Detroit. Chris Chelios is great friends with the band. The last time they played in Detroit - epic show at the Joe Louis. So, why not?
They just played Detroit last time around. As much as I would love it (hometonw show!), I don't think it will happen this time around. Like someone else said, it would kind of make more sense to tour different cities than on the last two tours, which were for the same album. Or not.... Well, anyway. They will announce when they will announce. Today would be cool. Monday would be cool. And if nothing happens at all, I can focus on christmas
Please, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue!

Dmitri seems pretty sure that Wrigley & Fenway are happening. (He said something to the effect of those two venues being the only ones he's 100% on)
Now I don't know Dmitri beyond his online persona, but I do know he knew in advance that PJ was playing No Code live front to back in October of 2014, so the one thing I can say is he has a good source somewhere. (Or he knew something big was planned for that show as he teased it earlier in the day)
Does that mean it's a done deal? Not by any stretch, but I give a more credibility to what he says than an average 10c member.
93.9 the river in Detroit just said that the Pearl Jam announcement will come on Monday.
Doesn't come from 101 or 89x? Seems odd that The River would have this info.
From 93.9 website:
Pearl Jam fans are still waiting. The latest rumor was that the band's highly anticipated tour announcement would come today, but now it appears as if we'll have to get through the weekend first. A rep of the Pearl Jam Ten Club forums said yesterday that the 2016 North American tour is definitely happening, and will be announced Monday.

If a rock station is using the forum as a source, that is hilarious
...got a mind full of questions and a teacher in my soul...

Maybe they want to play JLA one more time before they close it down. I'd find it hard to believe, but like you would welcome it.

Yes, that's hilarious. Slowly but surely I start to believe that 90% of all the rumours we've heard are just wishful thinking. And why did anyone say they would play Werchter for sure if they come to Europe?

US tour has dates and venues- other area sound like wishful thinking or there's little support at this point
