in another thread someone heard at a flyers game last night that april 28 is a lock with the hope of april 30.
Thursday and Saturday. Sounds good to me.
Hmm rumored MSG dates are may 1 and 2. PJ never play 3 nights in a row anymore.
Thursday and Friday in Philly and Sun/Mon in NY would be incredible.
Quoting myself here- the other thread says the 27th (not 30th)
yeah my bad on that. april 27 and 28. shit I have a wedding april 28th!!!
You're just messing with me, right? haha
I have something big for work on Friday April 29th. Oh well I'll be on little to no sleep haha.
this is from the other thread bud: Was at the Flyers game last night....heard April 28th, 2015 is a lock, and they hope to add 27th as well
This would be amazing!
2013: Wrigley Field, Pittsburgh, Brooklyn 1, Brooklyn 2, Philly 1, Philly 2, Baltimore
2014: Cincinnati
2015: Global Citizen Festival
2016: Philly 1, Philly 2, MSG 1, MSG 2, Fenway 1, Fenway 2, Wrigley 1, Wrigley 2
2017: Rock N Roll Hall of Fame Induction 2018: Krakow, Chicago 1, Chicago 2, Boston 1, Boston 2
United Center in Chicago has open dates April 10-12. Anything later in April or in May would depend on scheduling for the NHL and NBA playoffs. Small glimmer of hope for us Chicagoans.
So what's the updated rumor cities for 2016 so far?
First leg starting off in Midwest in spring of next year. Venture guesses that it will include Chicago, Kansas City, Columbus, Cleveland, DES MOINES, Indianapolis, maybe even throw in Houston or somewhere else in Texas.
Second leg starting in Florida and moving up through the South and East Coast/Northeast. Venture guesses Ft. Lauderdale, Tampa, Atlanta, DC, and then usual suspects like NYC, Boston, Hartford, and Philly. Would also include Toronto and Montreal in there.
Third leg starting on the West Coast going up the Pacific NW. Venture guesses in San Diego, LA, San Fran, Salt Lake City, Portland, and Seattle. Looks like destination weekend type of event in Seattle in September. Would guess some Canada dates up there as well.
Just a guess.
I find this very hard to believe. This would be a huge tour for the band at this point in their career, not to mention, no new album to support it.
I hope I'm wrong and your guess is correct. I just don't see Pearl Jam doing 30-40 shows in the USA in a calendar year ever again.
Who says it has to be 30-40 shows? They could just hit 6-8 cities on each leg.
I would also agree that 30-40 shows in a given year isn't going to happen for this band anymore......but with the lack of touring this year and next year being 25 years, ya never know. I don't think it's entirely out of the question.

The initial rumors were around Philadelphia and New York, and now have spread into multiple nights in Florida, Hartford, Houston... This is laughable! It was all supposedly over the fact that the band would play the rrhof at the same time, which also isn't happening.
They've had 4 legs (5 technically) of the LB tour. USA (two legs) Australia, Europe, and USA again. With a 6th South American leg coming very soon. I don't see them swinging back through the states for a while. Until there's some reason to do so. That's a lot more than the boys have played in a while.
You people having fire sales to support a tour, and hoping for an announcement tomorrow are in for a major, major disappointment. Scream at me today, realize I am right tomorrow. (Jesus)
not for nothing, but the last two times they toured full scale across Canada, neither was in support of an album.

Well, ain't you a bundle of positivity... People are just toying around ideas, it's part of the fun.
Please, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue!
There are ZERO hard rumors, pure speculation, and ideas running wild.
Why don't instead of speculating and expecting something huge, that we instead focus on what a band member himself said within the last two weeks? Which was - nothing is planned for a tour or album as of right now. Jeff JUST said this. Why is a comment from an actual member of the band ignored in spite of all these "supposed" rumors?
I mean many were expecting an announcement on the 10th. You're only letting yourself down with this type of excitement. There's not even a REASON to tour right now. Canada maybe, a full blown us tour, not likely. Is it possible? Yes. Likely? Not at all.

Like Jeff is going to tell a fan their tour plans. He probably learned a long time ago not say anything until it is all confirmed. You would be crazy to think he would say, "Yeah, we are looking at touring the east cost in April".

LMAO, wait until tomorrow.....
And you do the same.
Remember the Canadian tour that was just about to be announced over and over? Did it ever happen?
I'll be back to see how right you are.
I'm not pissing on the fun, I'm trying to be realistic. To watch these rumors pop up out of thin air is pretty enjoyable.
Did I expect Jeff to give a detailed plans of a tour? No. But if things were in the works, they wouldn't deny it.
It's comical to see all these "what Jeff really meant" comments. Thanks for knowing what he meant more than he himself did. I really needed the clarification.
I really would love a tour announcement so I can see my 461st show, again I'm only trying to keep it realistic here.
I don't know how one determines a hard rumor from a soft one, but there is Spring tour coming, no doubt about it. Disbelievers, sheep and speculators alike will be scrambling to enter their lottery choices soon. Count on it.
Rumored album. Rumor is just that...a rumor. Not banking on it, but hopeful. Would it be that much of a shock?

I love going to concerts (even non Pearl Jam ones) almost as much as I like speculating about when those concerts might be and getting excited along with other fans. It makes my day when people take a dump all over everyone's excitement over and over and say that they are doing it for reality's sake.

You might like sheep too but it is seemingly more fun to poke sheep with a stick until they are annoyed. Again, and again, and again.

I really don't care what Jeff told someone. I don't expect him to reveal the entire city lineup, he probably doesn't even know for sure. I just know a tour is coming. We will check back tomorrow.
