can you atleast give us a timeline of when we might find about what you know? This week? This month?

i think southern fans are going to be happy... and i think thats why they will be announcing early so they can sell as many tix as possible in southern locations that typically dont sell out
also... if florida rumors are true then i have to assume Atlanta or Nashville would be logical... as well as other locations as they move north
if you think a date in Houston wouldn't sell out in a heartbeat (assuming they don't play a 360 venue, and even if they do it will only be the way up the the rafters, behind the stage tickets that don't), I challenge all the travelling fans to stay away from the ticket sale and see what happens....
why do you houston guys get so fired up and defensive? lol
i wasnt talking about houston specifically, just generalizing that ticket sales for PJ in the south are a little slower than other regions... that doesnt mean that there is anything wrong with you guys in the south... it just means that they may announce a tour with multiple southern shows earlier then recent trends, in an effort to maximize ticket sales... a massive southern city like houston may be able to sell out fairly quickly without any issues, i dont dispute that... but how about smaller locations like Tampa, Jacksonville, Columbia, Raleigh, or Lexington? that is all i was saying my friend, and i am definitely in support of a Houston show for you guys, its been long enough!
my2hands, I agree with you about it being a good idea to leave more time for ticket sales in the South. I don't know what other cities are like but I remember that Tampa was a place where bands (even big ones) had to announce the shows very early because the ticket sales weren't fast. Even the Dave Matthews Band, a band that frequently plays Tampa in the summer, announces the show in January.
when you create a huge demand by rarely playing live every show should sell out regardless of location.
I think this is the point we are at now. Even when you think about Denver in 2003... did not sell out, empty seats towards the back etc... Denver 2014, sold out IMMEDIATELY. When there are only 10 city tours, a huge chunk of that crowd comes from somewhere else to be able to catch the show. I bet the fraction of people actually from Denver (or Colorado) at last year's show was around 1/2.

not to mention that was the tour finale and the western most date of 2014... that is a lot different then being a show smack in the middle of a tour with other shows surrounding you regionally like some of these upcoming southern dates are going to be
i am not going to be shocked if they are actually headlining the Okeechobee festival... first year festival that sounds like it is trying to go BIG quick so im sure they would love a strong lineup year 1... and to headline the first year i am sure PJ will get a large payday for it, much like made in america... in an area they could use the exposure in... and the promoters are legit... and pj tends to revolve these small tour legs around 1 festival.. and we have rumors of a spring tour starting in florida
There are ZERO hard rumors, pure speculation, and ideas running wild.
Why don't instead of speculating and expecting something huge, that we instead focus on what a band member himself said within the last two weeks? Which was - nothing is planned for a tour or album as of right now. Jeff JUST said this. Why is a comment from an actual member of the band ignored in spite of all these "supposed" rumors?
I mean many were expecting an announcement on the 10th. You're only letting yourself down with this type of excitement. There's not even a REASON to tour right now. Canada maybe, a full blown us tour, not likely. Is it possible? Yes. Likely? Not at all.
LMAO, wait until tomorrow.....
And you do the same.
Remember the Canadian tour that was just about to be announced over and over? Did it ever happen?
I'll be back to see how right you are.
I'm not pissing on the fun, I'm trying to be realistic. To watch these rumors pop up out of thin air is pretty enjoyable.
Did I expect Jeff to give a detailed plans of a tour? No. But if things were in the works, they wouldn't deny it.
It's comical to see all these "what Jeff really meant" comments. Thanks for knowing what he meant more than he himself did. I really needed the clarification.
I really would love a tour announcement so I can see my 461st show, again I'm only trying to keep it realistic here.
I really don't care what Jeff told someone. I don't expect him to reveal the entire city lineup, he probably doesn't even know for sure. I just know a tour is coming. We will check back tomorrow.
Man that tour announcement was sick!
That's right, you were dead wrong as I predicted.
I'm not here to do this daily. But don't say I am wrong and wait until today, because then I will make a fool of you. No tour was announced, so are you still laughing your ass off now?

They played ONE American show this year. If they don't play more than a dozen next year they will sell out fast regardless of where they are.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

Any chance of a 2003 style tour for North America? I'm sure it would be fewer dates total, but I could see them doing a coast-to-coast arena run spread out over a few months.

No rumors of west coast, so far at least
I thought Dimi was rumoring PNW in autumn. I guess that's not necessarily a west coast leg, but it works for me!

Why does it bother you that people are having fun speculating? I'm a cynic by nature, and more of a see-it-to-believe-it kind of guy, but tour rumors can be fun. Don't you base your entire life's philosophy on faith? Don't you go year to year believing in something that can't be known one way or the other? And yet you belittle people who exercise a little belief in something meaningful to them. Let people spend a few weeks of their lives hoping for their version of heaven. Quit being hypocritical.
