I'm at the Islanders game at the Barclays center. An employee who is a friend of mine saw my PJ hoodie and said "may 2016 there are some holds for them".
I HOPE it's MSG and not Barclays. MSG is A LOT EASIER for me to get there.
Was it Tim that said they put a lot more holds on places than they end up playing?
I could see that being true. From what I heard (on these forums), May 6th 2010 had Columbus, State College and Dallas(?) all booked. Columbus "won" out.
Presidential Advice from President-Elect Mike McCready: "Are you getting something out of this all encompassing trip?"

to be honest i think it's something very limited coming our way. Got a similar reminder in march 14 followed by the coke ten. Hopefully I'm wrong and it's dates regardless of where they are

Maybe something special for Black Friday Record Store Day. I would LOVE to see that happen. A full live complete Pearl Jam show pressed on a limited edition colored vinyl housed in a wicked box set with stickers & a fold out poster. #'d on the back. Randomly signed by the band. OH BABY!!!

So how does this work? I am new(er). The announcement is made through Ten Club and you buy the tickets from them, if you are selected, on a certain day, for specific shows? Or you get a special code to use through the venue once the actual tickets become available? I notice y'all keep talking about updating your credit card information.

The past US tours have included a lottery for shows through the PJ website. You prioritize the shows you want tickets to. The SA tour coming up had its fan club tickets sold through the ticket broker for each show.
The announcement for tickets is made by the fan club and will be done at least a few days before tickets are sold.
The credit card info on file is used for the automatic membership renewal and then for the lottery.
So if ten different dates are announced, you select the shows you would like to attend in order of preference. If you choose all ten, then are fortunate enough to be chosen for ALL ten, your card is charged for ten pairs of tickets.... For how many shows out of those ten might you normally be selected? Based on your experience? I can see why you need a credit card with a lot if open to buy on file....

I bid on 7 shows on the Midwest tour last year and got tickets to one show which was my last priority (didn't sell out). On the last few tours each show had a GA and seating ticket priority. The GA as more popular so depending on the popularity of the city/show some people who picked as their first or second priority were not picked. But if there were enough tickets for all entries and you picked 5 shows, you would win the lottery for each show and automatically be charged for all five. You don't get the option to change your order after the lotto starts.
