Anybody who cares about Hillary's health cannot be ok with this.

She collapses/faints/loses balance and doesn't see a doctor until Chappaqua according to Mook. Based on her medical history even if it was overheating secondary to bacterial pneumonia she should have seen someone right away. I was under the assumption that she must have seen a doctor at Chelsea's but apparently this is not so. This is absolute malpractice by her staff and the secret service who should have insisted that she receive medical care immediately. You don't take chances with this shit because even if the odds are remote in a 69 year old this could have been lethal.

Only doctors are subject to malpractice charges. Hillary is in charge of her own body. The Secret Service or her staff can't force her to see a doctor. I would be shocked if it wasn't suggested to her. She likely refused... which isn't surprising, given her circumstances. Dumb, but not surprising. A lot if not most POTUS candidates would probably act the same way. They are basically all obsessed with the campaign and will usually fight like dogs to prevent anything getting in the way of their goal.
I am not talking about the legal definition of malpractice I am talking about doing what is right. If this is your loved one...your mother...it doesn't matter what their demand is. Based on her medical history you get her to a doctor right away. You don't bring her back to an apartment to chill and then have her walkout on her own. A massive gamble was taken with her life right there even though the risk of a further adverse event was low. If she is President and the same thing happens everybody would insist upon this. It honestly seems like the people who support her the most actually care for her the least. Her care was not handled correctly. End of story.
Seems a bit over dramatic. A massive gamble?
It's absolutely a massive gamble. If you are 69 years old with a history of previous falls, on coumadin for clotting episodes including a clot to the brain, hypothyroidism, and now pneumonia then the symptoms she exhibited absolutely require immediate medical assessment. Even if the risk of a lethal adverse event is low it is certainly not zero and her wants or desires to avoid an ER should have been waived off. Again I was under the assumption the she received care in Chelsea's apartment but according to her campaign that is not the case. People can quote her 2015 health report all they want but that report is almost a year old and she needed an updated assessment which would include blood work, a cardiac assessment and a neurological assessment. That would be proper standard of care for anybody with her health history. This is not about the election but about someone's well being.
    She's fine.

On January 29, U.S. government debt surpassed a record $19 TRILLION.
It took over 200 years to rack up the first $1 trillion in debt. But today, the debt is soaring. In fact, Washington has racked up the last $1 trillion of debt in JUST 14 MONTHS.
if this is true why would we keep going with same ol' business usual politicians ?

    Godfather.

If that is true why would you vote for a guy who has a plan that will increase it even further?

    http://www.politico.com/story/2016/07/donald-trump-budget-deficit-225389
if Trump is elected I'm willing to bet he shrinks our deficit.....that in it's self sounds odd...."our deficit" we entrusted or voters entrusted (I didn't vote for him) a person to run our country and while attempting to do so sky rockets the deficit and does it while cutting back on our military spending........wrong guy for the job but we have been stuck with him so let's see what Trump (hopefully) can do to turn this mess around.

    Godfather.

This isn't a deficit thread. Realize that the war in Iraq/afgan has cost us 5 trillion and counting. Are you oblivious to that? How anyone can support trump is beyond me. The greatest fuck up of all time. Day after day...week after week.
You are straight up supporting someone who is a bigot. Why?
I get that you want the boarders protected and that you don't want illegals in San Diego and else where, but are you willing to ruin the fucking world because you can't stand a dirty ass Mexican roaming your streets?

As if you have any greater knowledge regarding her health and subsequent treatment, professor.

That's the point. The people who say "She's fine" are just as bad as the people who claim "She's dying". Neither you or I or apparently any of the people who were with her have the ability to make a diagnosis. That is why you get her to a hospital immediately and not back to her daughter's apartment followed by a limited check-up later in the day. That's just one of the few things I learned during my hospital residency.

Unnecessary trips to the ER cost the healthcare system. As a conservative, I thought you would know this? But more importantly, you don't know that there wasn't someone medically qualified to assess her and determine a hospital visit wasn't necessary. Typically presidential candidates have a physician that travels with them and/or a member of the secret service detail has gone through some level of "corpse man" style training to make medical assessments and provide "battlefield" type care in the event of an event. You're just as bad as someone else on here who claimed their 8 hours of CPR and first aid training and watching a video made them qualified to assess her health. Hillary's not running for mayor of Wasilla, professor. See? Like I said, she's fine.

I wouldn't argue with this but I would still argue that it is a gamble. People brush off chest tightness all the time and some end up dying from a heart attack. She has the medical history of someone who could be prone to a stroke. That doesn't mean she will ever have one but it does mean that episodes such as hers should certainly be investigated on a more urgent basis then what was apparently done. People's partisanship is preventing them from looking at this from a purely medical standpoint.

    She's fine.
    If you say so doctor.
Her doctor says so actually....but you don't believe her right?

That's the point. The people who say "She's fine" are just as bad as the people who claim "She's dying". Neither you or I or apparently any of the people who were with her have the ability to make a diagnosis. That is why you get her to a hospital immediately and not back to her daughter's apartment followed by a limited check-up later in the day. That's just one of the few things I learned during my hospital residency.
Well, taking her back to her daughters place seems to have worked. Hard to argue with the results.

Unsung didn't say she was qualified to diagnose Clinton. Not sure why you need to keep whining and making such petty remarks.

You're ignoring a big factor. Clinton's staff screwed this up and they fueled the public with more doubts. Clinton also left before her medical detail was ready. They got up and left, refusing standard protocol. A medical evaluation would have been a better answer to all those who have doubts about her condition. What was seen in those videos was frightening and not normal. The majority of the public do not understand a lot of these medical conditions- all they saw was what appeared to be a very ill individual.

Clinton interviewed with Anderson Cooper on Monday and she did not state that there was someone medically qualified to assess her. She said that all she needed was some A/c. Those are her comments, not mine. Also, instead of making the conversation about her and her situation she quickly did what many of you guys do around here, and that's whine. She quickly started talking about how unfair things are for her because no one is holding trump accountable or holding his feet to the fire. She looked for a scapegoat as she usually does.

Anybody who cares about Hillary's health cannot be ok with this.

    http://www.cnn.com/2016/09/12/politics/hillary-clinton-health-robby-mook-tim-kaine/

Clinton interviewed with Anderson Cooper over the phone on Sunday night- there was no doctor or anyone there that was medically qualified. End of story. She said she needed some a/c so they went to the van, but then they decided to call it a day and relax a little at her daughters place. End of story

    THIS

Anyone who lived in NYC during Mrs.Clinton's term as Senator knows she is beyond full of sh*t. I am certainly not voting for the other guy, but there is no way she gets my vote, and I think it would be a disgrace for any New Yorker (who isn't suffering from amnesia) to support her.

I am pretty sure I will write in "Jeffrey Allen Ament" in November.

Good for them. I tend to be more concerned with policy and how someone will actually govern. And I'll whine about whatever I'd like to whine about, like the alt-right and their incessant whining about Hillary's health.

Why didn't her secret service bring her to the hospital like normal people? To go "home" to her daughter's just makes it all look the more secretive.

She may have begun to recover after getting into an air conditioned environment. Her doctor did see her that day, pretty standard. There is a copy of a letter of her last physical (2015) including lab results here, for the medical professionals in the crowd. Her vital signs are within normal limits, normal EKG, and lab testing. Total cholesterol 195, HDL 64, LDL 118, triglycerides 69. Due to family history she had a thorough cardiac exam including a carotid ultrasound. All normal. heavy.com/news/2016/09/lisa-bardack-hillary-clinton-physician-doctor-bio-who-is-medical-degree-health-record-statement-caremount-medical/
I know I wouldn't go to the hospital if I were feeling woozy from overexertion while dealing with pneumonia or the flu or whatever. That was clearly not an ER situation. She just needed a lie-down.
Moving on..... Um.... I actually forget anything else about her. There is just this fog of medical hoopla and email blahblahs. I guess the right wing media's plan is working, lol.
And you aren't a candidate for President.
No. if I were I'd be even less likely to be wasting my and the hospital's time with such a visit.
Not sure if I'm misunderstanding, but are you suggesting that the presidential nominee should be way overreacting to illness for some reason?
I doubt that. As a potential leader of this country I'm sure any rational person would prefer to be checked out.

But it doesn't matter, the story would just change again anyway.
So you don't think Hillary is rational??
    Are you being serious?
Yeah, why? Do you expect me to think Clinton isn't rational?

That is why you get her to a hospital immediately and not back to her daughter's apartment followed by a limited check-up later in the day. That's just one of the few things I learned during my hospital residency.
Well, taking her back to her daughters place seems to have worked. Hard to argue with the results.
    You. Weren't. There.
Nobody. Who. Could. Make. A. Proper. Diagnosis. Was. That. Is. Why. You. Go. To. The. Hospital.
Why waste time diagnosing something that you already know what it is? The doctors know what caused it. Hillary knows what caused it. Her handlers know what caused it. They all know what to do. Bill said she faints frequently.
Hmmmmmm maybe to help the public deal with it? It makes it seem like Clinton is hiding things, again.

    Polls = nearly 70% untrustworthy.

So she would need to go to the ER for the sole reason of satisfying the public? I think the Clintons are huge liars and use their power to amass wealth (for example, people would rather go to a Hillary rally and hear Obama, Bill or Biden over hearing Hillary talk so why would a Wall Street bank pay her to speak), but they know what her health problems are and a trip to the ER was not necessary apparently.

As if you have any greater knowledge regarding her health and subsequent treatment, professor.

At the time nobody who was on site could say they know what caused it. Her health history includes not just pneumonia but a number of other things. The assumption of dehydration secondary to pneumonia would be on the differential diagnosis list but it could not be confirmed without a full medical assessment. It was medically risky to make that assumption even if it turned out to be ultimately right.

Anybody who cares about Hillary's health cannot be ok with this.

    http://www.cnn.com/2016/09/12/politics/hillary-clinton-health-robby-mook-tim-kaine/

I don't think you have any idea what you're talking about.
