"Secretary Clinton had personal email on her BlackBerry and was looking for a new solution to use personal email," Cooper said. While Cooper offered some testimony highlighting the risks of Clinton's email setup, he also appeared to debunk some GOP theories about the case. Cooper said unauthorized efforts to log onto the Clinton server occurred "with some frequency," leading the Clinton team to implement new measures overseen by Pagliano. "As there was an increases in the failed login attempts, we made the Secret Service aware and they made some recommendations," Cooper said. However, Cooper said he wasn't familiar with all the techniques Pagliano implemented over time to address those worries. Democrats noted that the FBI found no evidence the Clinton system was successfully hacked, but Cooper said that if someone successfully guessed Clinton's password there might have been no trace of such a hack. Cooper also indicated that some of the computers he set up wound up in secure information spaces at the Clintons' homes, but said he did not recall working on the devices once they were in those rooms. While some have speculated that the Clintons were paying Cooper's legal bills, he said he's paying them himself. He also said that while he destroyed old Clinton BlackBerrys, he always sought to back up that information and move it to a new device. "It was not in any way to destroy or hide any information at all," Cooper testified. "In fact, the opposite would be the case in that I was going out of my way to preserve all the information that was on those devices." Asked why he sometimes smashed up the old electronics with a hammer, the longtime Clinton aide said: "I think it’s practical to not just throw an old device into a garbage receptacle where someone might pick it up and try to use it." Cooper said the impetus for putting Hillary Clinton's email on a private server came from her longtime aide Huma Abedin, who indicated to him it was preferable to have an in-house system maintained by Clinton's aides rather that one handled by a commercial service. However, FBI Director James Comey indicated in previous testimony that decision was ill-advised because it's hard for a handful of aides or consultants to match the large, full-time security teams at big internet firms. As the only witness to offer substantive answers Tuesday, Cooper won praise from Chaffetz, but the chairman said Cooper's unfamiliarity with security measures demonstrated how unwise it was for the Clinton team to try to manage its own server system. "You get huge brownie points from the committee for showing up and having the guts to actually answer questions. We're very grateful for that," the chairman said. "Here's the problem: it's you, Mr. Cooper, with no experience, no dual authentication, no encryption, up against the Chinese and the Russians. Who do you think's going to win that one? That's what scares the living daylights out of us."

The perception most Americans have is that we're voting for the lesser of two evils and the lesser of these two evils is polling at nearly 70% untrustworthy .... Hillary is not helping herself. Only giving her opponents more fuel.

John Oliver nailed it when he explained the difference between Clinton and Trump. Trump's campaign is like a bed of nails - individually, each nail is horrific. But when you put more and more of them on, the shock to the system is actually pretty minimal. Clinton's offences, on the other hand, stand out like a sore thumb.

I guess we don't know. It seems there's something to all of these health concerns. I am still going to vote for her. I don't care if she dies upon inauguration and Tim "I am not Trump" Kaine takes over...it's that middle name that matters more than anything else.

Why would it be at that point? The woman got sick, like we all do. I know I get bed-ridden-sick about once a year usually. Takes me out for a week. And I have absolutely been more than sick enough to have collapsed or come close to it if I'd tried to go out and pretend I wasn't sick. I've been that sick lots of times in my life. I've been at a Pearl Jam concert in that state in fact, haha. I actually don't find anything strange about her health at all, from everything I have seen and read. However, her campaign made a mistake not just saying that she was normal-sick in the first place and letting her rest. Any person needs to truly rest up when they have pneumonia. I assume they didn't because they were scared of the already-stupid attention being put on her health. Bad decision as far as working the media goes. It was also pretty damn silly of Hillary to try and work through it. I guess she felt she had to. Well, she's learned her lesson on that one, lol. But besides that, I honestly don't see an issue, so I hope this health debate blows over, because as others have mentioned, it is just acting as a massive distraction from the real issues.

Only doctors are subject to malpractice charges. Hillary is in charge of her own body. The Secret Service or her staff can't force her to see a doctor. I would be shocked if it wasn't suggested to her. She likely refused... which isn't surprising, given her circumstances. Dumb, but not surprising. A lot if not most POTUS candidates would probably act the same way. They are basically all obsessed with the campaign and will usually fight like dogs to prevent anything getting in the way of their goal.

Why didn't her secret service bring her to the hospital like normal people? To go "home" to her daughter's just makes it all look the more secretive.
She may have begun to recover after getting into an air conditioned environment. Her doctor did see her that day, pretty standard. There is a copy of a letter of her last physical (2015) including lab results here, for the medical professionals in the crowd. Her vital signs are within normal limits, normal EKG, and lab testing. Total cholesterol 195, HDL 64, LDL 118, triglycerides 69. Due to family history she had a thorough cardiac exam including a carotid ultrasound.
