I've seen a Riot Act winner a few day's back posted in a Facebook group. Not from Canada through.

That seems a bit optomisitic? The tracking doesn't reveal much but it does reveal that the packages were received and processed by UPS on the 27th. We know that standard packages using regular post take two weeks to get to Canada. We also know that UPS Mail Innovations is slower than USPS. If it was USPS I would expect the packages to start showing up the week after next (around the Friday the 8th or Monday the 11th). Add Mail Innovations into the mix and it could be an additional week....

This upcoming Mon/Tues is really optimistic

May 8th would be the earliest.

That's what I was thinking. It's still too early. 8th is best case scenario. With how slow mail innovations is, it'll probably be later.

I think mine might have arrived. I get all my packages mailed to my parents house since my wife and I live in a new subdivision that has those mail boxes on the corner that the mailman likes to fold stuff in half to fit it inside. Apparently I have a package that arrived today. I'm in Guelph btw.

nothing at my place at around 1:30 today and mail is usually delivered by then. Couple hrs north of Toronto

I would be. I have too much experience ordering stuff online from the US (and the ten club) to know better Given standard times it takes to ship from US to Canada I would expect them (at the earliest) to start showing up at the very very end of this week. Most likely most of us will get them next week.

Maybe it's a Benny? The theory is that they were given shipping priority. If your getting a record before everyone else... you never know

I'm not holding my breath, I don't think there's a Benny in the cards for me. I sold mine last year to pay for my Bridge School trip, regretted it ever since.

Typically I would agree, but I think that's why vinyl holds such a special place in many of our hearts: it makes listening to music an experience. An mp3 has no value to me: it's a digital file, which, when opened, produces music. Vinyl records are a process: you put your LP in its packaging on your lap, roll a joint on it (my dad always said records are better than CDs because CD packaging is too small to roll a joint on), delicately place it on the turntable, turn it on, carefully move your needle to the start, drop it, listen to those warm crackles, and then finally the music starts.

If there were only 200 Benaroya Hall CDs, I would agree that the Bridge School trip would be a better option. The vinyl version? That's a tough one for me.

False alarm folks. I had a shirt in my cart when I checked out with the mystery vinyl. They shipped the shirt separately and of course it was the shirt that came. Usually it takes a month or two to get anything. I'll post when I receive my vinyl.

Nope. Once we Canadians hear a European receives their 10club item in the mail, add 2 weeks on top of that till they start showing up here in Canada. That's the norm.
