While I am very happy for anyone receiving exactly the vinyl they were wishing for, I wonder about the legality. I can't remember if the sale was billed as a lottery or the word random was used (I can't find the full announcement anymore), but if it wasn't truly a 'mystery' package but instead a chance to get incredibly loyal fans the thing they want most, is that really the way it should work? Is it legal? I did not participate as I had to work.

A friend of mine. I won't share her name here. I won't speak for her either but there's a *slight* chance she might be up for trading it (she'd probably need a proper PJ album in return).
It seems like she has already posted pics on FB
Oh - ok. I didn't want to do anything without her permission.

Be patient, pjradio, mine was brought by the UPS guy, not with regular mail.
Curious, have all deliveries been by UPS as opposed to the regular mailman?
And Leeze....does your newly acquired Benny live up to the hype?!
I have to say yes. It seems like this was made to be listened to on vinyl. Everything is all warm and fuzzy. I love that the show is so long. Somebody said they don't spin theirs often because they don't like to flip records all the time. Well, four records is a lot. But each side goes for a decent amount of time. I had a fabulous time cooking while listening yesterday. Our living room has lived up to the hype too. It is all open with no walls to the kitchen. We have nice vintage floor speakers from the early eighties, and they have never sounded better.
Please, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue!

A trade was requested of the person who posted on FB and her response was "not for sale, not for trade".
For anyone that gets a purple mad season and is up for trading/selling, PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU'RE LOOKING FOR!!!!
The waiting is over. What a fun process! We even did a live Periscope broadcast that 17 people joined of me fumbling to open the package.

Just got an original Into the Wild and a white fixer, both of which I already have, but still super excited. This was a lot of fun, thanks 10c! My weight was 1.875.
I'll be looking to trade the ITW if anyone is interested, PM me

It's true that I already have Backspacer as most of us do, but I got a very rare record that will likely never be repressed along with it, plus the whole experience of anticipation was fun. No reason to complain on my end.
PS- it'll be interesting to see how people feel about Backspacer when it is out of print, disappears from stores and is the new hot collectors item. I'm predicting this will happen around 2029 just before the reissue Haha.
Got a Moonlander and Merkinball 7". While nothing great its two for spinning that I didn't have. Was fun waiting and dreaming. I will not share the weight as it will take the fun out for someone else.

awesome...I have 3 copies!
The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

I also got Into the Wild and a white Fixer. Mine weighted in at 1.885. I am thrilled about the Into the Wild. It was very very high on my wish list. Ive already have a white fixer, actually I think I have 3 of them now. An outdoors store (I have no idea why they where carrying them) was selling them dirt cheap, so I picked up a couple. If anyone is looking to trade for a white fixer hit me up. I also have a red RSD Mad Season I can trade.

So....definitely a "mystery item" and not a "random" thing.

And I was going to do some sort of drink-spit-smiley at her post!
