    Strat-O-Matic baseball - my brother and I would order the whole of players and teams. I remember the anticipation of them arriving via UPS. what a great game.

    Columbia House - what was it, 12 cassettes or something like that for 1 penny as long as you agreed to by 3 more? got a lot of classic rock albums that way

    playing outside all day and getting a drink of water from the hose instead of running inside or having a bottle ready

    the smell of charcoal bbq's. don't get much of that anymore.

    Damn! Yes, that specific charcoal smell is ingrained in the scents of my childhood. Summer evenings, my dad manning the bbq, tongs in hand, so fucking happy.

Remember that? And remember that time when someone, I don't recall who, but you know, back in the day, posted that post about, well you know, and it made you laugh or pissed you off and then, then you called them a such and such and everyone laughed?     I could buy tobacco from the corner store with a note from my grandpa. I think I tried rolling him cigarettes too. I remember using either too little, or too much tobacco. It was a more innocent time back then. Can't buy smokes with a note from your grandpa nowadays.

    damn telemarketers did not call every day - three or four times a day - including weekends and some Holidays. Ugh! No, I don't want to buy your solar panels, medical alert devices, home improvement deals or carpet cleaning service.

    Who allowed companies to sell our phone numbers, names and addresses to telemarketers so they could constantly harass us? (I'm looking at you, Experian!)

    I have myt number on the do not call list...so I don't ever get calls...my mom wanted to know how much that nordic track thing, one of devices was, so she called for the info to be mailed to her, no they call her umpteen million times a day....
