in my opinion Bush was a much better President although not a popular thing to say on the train it is still my opinion.

    Godfather.

In your opinion Bush was a better president that's fine then please tell why does this country have a current two term president in Obama?

If Bush was that much better, then why did this country stoop to your low level of electing this current president?

    Am I being fair here?

    Peace
fair enough my friend, to start with he sealed the black vote and the hippie vote (all the people that have waited for a black persident sence the 60's and early 70's)
and I have to give dredit where credit is due...he is/was a great speaker with great promices and held himself well while running for election but unfortunatly that's all he has..
all one needs to do is look back from the start of his terms and count the blunders that he has created all the way up to today and he is not finished yet, but people on the train will keep blaming the republicans for blocking his good deeds..something every president has had to deal with but obama chose to break the law to make his actions work for him,
the man is an imbaressment to our country.......as I said when he ran the first time "I have a bad feeling about this guy" and I still do.

Wait, I agree. Obama has been a better president overall than Bush.

Better at manipulation, and more effective in his expansion of the U.S. Empire.

So Yes, I do see him as a better president than Bush, and that also does not mean that I also don't see Obama as a bad president, a murdering bully expanding the empire into Africa, a place W. could hardly touch. A place that will yield many major conflicts, the seeds Obama has planted.

Obama 10000 'a times better than W period. The world is a fucked up place. Humans suck ass and any person you choose will have to make some decisions that suck either way. It's reality.

The decisions Obama has made both for domestic and foreign affairs have been 1000 times better than Cheney presidency and that of what would be if McCain or Romney where in the White House.

To somehow think Obama is same as Bush is ludicrous.
Obama's silence on what is happening in Gaza really says it all, shows where he stands. Shows who he is.

    1000 times better? Hardly.
Again read what I wrote about the world is fucked. How is it your pinning this on Obama when NO other president has ever been able to do squat? You can't blame Obama for everything. And yeah he's part of the machine no doubt but compared to getting us in two wars thousands of us soldiers killed and wounded and Billions of dollars pissed away saying he's worse or same as Bush is nuts with all due respect for Mr Unsung and GF. >:)
As I said, he's like the others. No better, for sure not '1000' times better.

I blame Obama for screaming 'change' before being elected, then continuing with US Hegemony after he's elected.

Is Obama better? worse? Like that means much, they both are of the same ilk.

rgambs, sorry but that is Not a choice, they give us two clowns and we call it choice, "guess I choose the lesser evil guy"

How unfortunate. You want change, stop supporting these people, dont be part of voting for people that are still 'evil'.

big talk but what exactly do you present as an alternative? "stop supporting these people" how does one do that? Not voting is just what they want from you, it allows them to present candidates that are less and less distinguishable. If you fail to choose between the lesser evils you will get the greater every time.

Perhaps...But regardless, we should have some standards, follow some law, not just go around invading countries, bombing people, supporting crazy folks, executions.

These things matter, it all matters.
This execution was justified.Im sorry it was so quick.

Honestly, I am more disappointed in Obama these last few weeks than I ever have been before. That said, if we are going to redebate the execution of bin Laden it will only serve to elevate Obama's stock in my eyes. Any trial would have been a circus. At best. At worst it could have been much worse. I for one am glad we were spared that.

I don't think everything either one has done is great or completely horrible

you're the only one who can't forgive yourself, oh
makes much more sense to live in the present tense
