i just want to publicly thank kat for allowing this thread to continue.
i know we are all fired up about this. i am just as guilty of this as anybody else, but let's all try to think about our language a bit before we post. i know that going forward i am going to try to be more cognizant of it.
Looking back again, I see what you mean. Yes, thanks to Kat for keeping it open.
“The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man [or woman] who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.”
This kind of picture is a direct threat to the Military Industrial complex. How are these companies going to profit if the youth choose to ignore the scary realities of war and hate?.Sheesh,Next thing you know kids will all be like playing together and stuff, then what? become friends?? This kind of behavior really Dosent help the universal message of hate war promotes. What happens when others join them? They could start some kind of global epidemic of peace if left to there own devices.scary right?

US Senate unanimously approves $225m funding for Israel's Iron Dome
Lawmakers reached an agreement overnight to pass the missile defence system funding measure
Reuters in Washington theguardian.com, Friday 1 August 2014
The US Senate unanimously passed legislation on Friday to provide $225m in emergency funding for Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system.
An earlier version of the funding plan had failed on Thursday when Senate Republicans blocked a broader spending bill that was largely intended to provide money to handle the current immigration crisis at the US-Mexico border.
But lawmakers reached an agreement overnight to pass the missile funding measure.
To become law, the funding plan must still pass the House of Representatives and be signed by President Barack Obama. Given US lawmakers’ traditionally strong support for Israel, it is not expected to encounter significant resistance in the House.
Israel’s Iron Dome missile interceptor system, which was partly funded by the United States, has shot down most of the rockets fired at its cities by militants in Gaza during the current three-week conflict.
'Lloyd e-mailed me a copy of a 28-page analysis that's the most detailed critique yet of the holes in the Iron Dome system - holes so big that, if he's right, would justify calling it Iron Sieve.'
People have very short memories - or are just willfully ignorant and believe everything they're told by the T.V. They forget that during Operation Cast Lead 2008-2009 (Ancient history?) - Israel's last full-scale massacre of Palestinian civilians - just three Israeli civilians were killed. There was no Iron Dome in place then. But now we nod like obedient sheep and accept that without Iron Dome the Israeli's would be suffering a second holocaust by way of Hamas' rockets.

I watched a couple of hrs of CNN today, its just pure garbage.
They had a segment about 'Iron Dome', with commentary about its effectiveness, then they talked about tunnels, rockets in schools, and this captured Israeli solider.
Then they showed a clip of Obama saying how terrible it is to hear about the captured Israeli Soldier and how strongly he is against such actions.

Have we all not seen his Aipac speeches? Do we not remember when he went to South Africa and defended Israel?
(then got blasted in South Africa for his stance)

Or maybe Obama is waiting for his last term as president to start, you know, before he takes a 'just' stand on this current massacre.
