    Thanks but no, I didn't :( and I wanna cry now.

    Basically the credit card people are saying that the money DID go through... so I've PAID for the flight. Aer Lingus are saying that they did NOT get the money so I HAVE no flight :eek: and they're both pretty much saying 'and that's that' :o so I'm down almost 300euro for nothing? I've emailed the credit card people at Aer Lingus (cos apparently there are no real people working there so you have to email) and apparently they can query it with the bank... so now I just have to sit back and wait for them to get back to me :o

    This is a disaster!

    if its anything like CC's work over here then on the back of your card should be a number you can phone and you can cancel transactions.. all credit cards are guaranteed against fraud/loss/etc... so if you phone them and then get them to cancel the transaction then you can re-book another flight!!

    if it were in the uk, then all i'd need to tell my credit card company is "i havent received the goods but i have been charged"
