I went to a Buddhist temple today and sat in the main temple in front of the only remaining clay statue of a seated Buddha in the world in amongst some serious worshippers. Lighted candles, dead silence, people bowing, and all kinds of offerings all over the place - no photo's allowed.

Nah! I had my leather on. It was a pretty strange place - incense candles burning inside, offerings e.t.c. Everyone worshipping a piece of clay. I found it a bit absurd. I'm not sure if that was the right way to be thinking, but I don't know enough about Buddhism to think any other way. I need to do my homework.
