    hello everyone! :)

oooOOOOooo V, I luuurrrvve that song!

I would've loved to take yous all for a nice stroll around my neighbourhood today. it's been the most beautiful day, all nice and sunny and not too cold.

though I would have borrowed scarves and hats and gloves to everyone who gets cold easily. :)

I was in such a good mood that even putting on my red red hat and red red gloves put a smile on my face. :D

I walked to the post office today (to get my shiny new Led Zeppelin alarm clock!!) and couldn't stop smiling the whole way (and it's about a 15-15 minute walk.) I even sang out loud a little.

and when I got the package the handwriting on it looked exactly like my dad's so for a second I thought "aww, maybe it's not the clock.. but yey something from dad! but why would he send me anything, he lives a 15-minute drive away?"

hope you've all had a good day!! xxxxxx <3

    Good morning all!

I've already posted this elsewhere, but here goes again:

Earth Hour.... it's today (Aussieland already now maybe?). Switch off all lights for just one hour between 8.00pm and 9.00pm. Help promote energy saving and thus less carbon emissions. Why not switch off ALL electrical appliances, TVs and computers included.

I can think of LOADS of fun stuff to do in the dark... can you? :D

apropos of nothing... i'm just watching an incredible BBC documentary about a brain surgeon doing work for free in the Ukraine... using a Black & Decker drill to get through the skull of some poor, still awake, bloke - "i can feel something scraping away up there, it's like the decorators are in..."

EDIT: quote of the day "the natural consistency of the human brain is like smooth cream cheese..."

we decided on a big fat NO in the end cuz i'm skint.

    unfortunately :(

mind you, if i'd known they were THAT cheap then it would've been a "get the damn tickets and worry about everything else afterwards!" but nevermind :)

we got two returns from Bristol to Newark, flying with Continental for just under £800. That's pretty good.
