    That's the thing if your going to take away Guns from everyone then that has to mean everyone from Security to Police.

    The county next to me just got one of those MRAP anti-mine/IED vehicles for their Sheriff's Dept. Those were used in Iraq and were almost $750k when new.

    I doubt there will be a disarming of anyone.

    Personally guns should only be with two kinds of people and that is, abattoirs and police of any kind, there should be no sports hunting or gun shooting shops, it would solve all problems and personally thats the best way to ease the mind of the public.. The only people who would disagree would be frightened people who want security and sportsman, well my opinion is find a safer sport and find different method of security that doesnt involve the rish of one or dozens being threatened or killed

    How many drug shops do you know of? Can you walk into Wal-Mart and buy a bag of heroin? Are people unable to buy heroin because it isn't sold in a store?

    So all your proposal would do is create a huge black market. Crime would essentially INCREASE based on this flawed logic. Again, it's fantasy world fiction.

    @jwpearl, gonna have to disagree with you that gun prohibition would solve all problems. please explain to me how it would have saved the three people Elliot rogers killed without a gun. I do appreciate your logic though, I don't mind finding a safer sport if people don't mind finding a safer means of transportation that doesn't involve killing tens of thousands of people and even more animals every year all the while dumping shit loads of pollution into our air. ride a bicycle.

    personally I think gun prohibition is absolutely ridiculous and impossible, BUT if everyone was talking about giving up all the things in their life that kill people I would be inclined to jump on board. but to have people smoking cigarettes, drinking alcohol and driving cars telling me how important human lives are when it comes to guns, gotta just chuckle and go about my business.
    if you think what I believe is stupid, bizarre, ridiculous or outrageous.....it's ok, I think I had a brain tumor when I wrote that.

    Sounds good to me, very good- although I'm not sure why slaughter houses need guns. I think Temple Grandin designed a more humane way to do that job.

    But when Everytown released the school shooting data they made it clear that it included suicides, accidental shootings, and assaults. It was basically any discharge of a firearm on school property/grounds. They were clear enough on that. That makes the debunking pretty meaningless, I'd say.
