Crazy random and I am sure PJ Hawks is going to absolutely despise this, but any of you ever heard of Sous Vide? Basically cooking meat in vacuum sealed bags in water and finishing it off on a grill. My mom bought me one of these things for Christmas and it is absolutely incredible. Also pretty sure it is how all the big time restaurants cook these days. You cook the meat at the exact temperature you want it so the entire thing is the exact doneness you want, rather than on a grill where only the very center is what you want.

Highly, highly recommended. Have done a bunch of different steaks and a whole rack of lamb. Everything comes out perfect.

haha why would I hate that? anything that can be done to make food taste good i say go for it.

and Juggler didn't you go to Conestoga? hope you didn't play football and you know...wtf is wrong with people?
Ha, I figured that you'd tell me to just put the steak on the damn grill. Pleasantly surprised. This thing makes delicious food.
well grilling is fantastic but that thing actually sounds pretty cool
Agreed. Grilled a couple times this week. You sear it on the grill at the end to get char and marks at a crazy high temp for like a minute at most on each side. Basically this is what it does compared to grilling.

I am aware of sous vide, and shit is it delicious. But expensive.

I was reading about doing sous vide if you're out camping and near some hot springs. I can get down with it.

Yeah, like I said, it was a gift. Awesome gift.

Word. I have heard about people doing it in coolers and things, just gotta be tough to keep it at the temperature you need. Can't get too hot or cold.

And I stand corrected - this Belo show sounds great. Also stand corrected on Philly crowds being the best. I gotta get to South America for a show.

Spoke with a client at work just now who referred to March as a "Man's Month" because of The Masters, the tourney, and baseball starting up. Haha

    Great time of year

Maybe you should have pointed out to him that the Masters is actually in April.

Good stuff. Yeah, I did some cleaning of our back yard (a concrete philly back yard of course) and cleaned off the front porch pretty good. Wish it was going to be as warm as it has been this weekend, but not gonna complain

There was talk, and not talk, of giving Franco a 6 yr/39M deal. I like it....if it's true.

Was thinking about getting that April package of like $4 games, but there is no way I am spending 9 straight days watching the Phillies in person.
