Did I hear McCarthy say last night that Pivetta has the 2nd best Strikeouts per Nine innings in the National League behind Scherzer?   He was great last night.  Cabrera has been a nice addition to the offense.  professional hitter.

Phillies have acquired Justin Bour and cash considerations from the Marlins in exchange for minor league LHP McKenzie Mills. Nice trade if you ask me.

losing 2 out of 3 to one of the worst teams in baseball ain't helping either.

Huge series against Boston coming up.

Time for me to make another comment about their lack of hitting. Well, they're struggling to hit!

Unreal. Think it was the 7th or 8th when Odubel swings and misses on a ball that hits him for strike 3 then Alfaro takes one right down the middle for another strike 3. It's almost like they're guessing up there.

Several of these guys (Herrera, Alfaro, Hernandez, blah blah) seem to have no plan for their at bats and no sense of what the hell is going on in the game. Just trying to hit dingers every pitch. I guess that's what sabrmetrics tells them to do.

Heading down tonight - hopefully will see a couple runs.

Pitching has been fantastic though. Wasted a lot of quality starts lately.

    They activated Ramos today.

Getting the fuck out of Montana is highly complicated -- took a full day with a lengthy 8 hour delay to get a new plane and then getting into Dallas after 1 AM (clearly missing our connection to PHL) and having to get a hotel/fly back today.
    Small airport problems!  :)
Great trip, though.  Philly region represented in a big way in Seattle and Montana.  Always good to see.

Oh sure. And with a baby. I was actually glad our flight to Philly from Chicago was delayed because I didn't realize we only had a 30 minute layover between connections, which ended up with us leaving Missoula 30 minutes behind schedule for Chicago so we would've been fucked.

But, yeah, your commute out of Missoula sounds a lot worse than ours was; that sucks.

But the show was just the icing on the cake of an incredible trip.

I thought the plane they pulled up at Gate 1 was the Dallas one...turned out to be Chicago so you guys were stoked.
Soooo stoked, as it turned into 8 hours of picking ass in a small airport.
I enjoyed Seattle and the Hot Springs stay more than Missoula but I did enjoy Missoula.
Saw one black dude when we were leaving -- must be a lonely place to be a person of color.
Also had some weak food this visit to Montana.  Spent little time focused on it and the results showed!  ;)

Good win...now we just need two complete game shutouts today. Go Phils.

Good luck, man.  I continue to resist - wife has been pushing for a shore house for years.  I think I will buy in a few years when the prices come back down.  (If!)
