Game tying HR v. LA in the NLCS was huge as well. I jumped off the couch.
    Alright, alright, alright!

yes two massive home runs.  the LA one gets lost a bit with the Matt Stairs homer following it.  the CC one was awesome. Was in bar with 2 of my brothers and some friends for that one.  What an electric moment.  that slam made me believe that was the year...

good win.  Looking forward to seeing Victorino tonight.  What a great dude.
same here. I remember driving home from work when he hit that slam of CC.
I was at this game. That ballpark exploded. I couldn't feel my face. The Myers at-bat followed by Victorino a couple later? That was madness.

I was sick with the flu during that game against the Dodgers where Stairs hit that homerun. I was fighting so hard to not fall asleep. Thankfully, I stayed up long enough to see the homerun. Then I went to sleep like a minute later knowing that Lidge would take care of business.

Crowd was incredible in those 2008 playoffs. The city was so damn hungry.

Best bullpen era in baseball since July 1st. I wouldn't have brought Sir Anthony back in the 9th last night, though. Save him for today if necessary.

That place blows. We stopped there on the way home from something last year. Reminds me of the commons back in college.

Any luck beating Boston, yet, Cliff?

Haha I enjoyed it. But yeah, gluttonous and not great food. Had it’s moments

You are aware that the yanks smoked the Phillies right? Also that they’re on pace for 100+ wins even with an 18-19 skid? Also that you won one game against Boston? Also that the Phillies kinda stink?

Weak sauce.  I have been to a dozen Phillies games where someone within a few rows of me shouted obsceneties throughout the game.  Kapler is a puss if this is true.  (One who suntans his balls.)
If Kapler had him tossed I agree it's weak...but you can't run down 13 rows to the rail. security should not let you do that.
You shouldn't be able to scream obsceneties.  I have been to more games at Fenway then at CB
      - both places are chock full of drunken poor behavior.
We used to install and maintain charging stations at Fenway and every other stadium in MLB.  Fenway had easily 5x the issues vs any other stadium. Fans are animals and would damage the tables on purpose all of the time.
Not saying g you are wrong...just that it is a weak thing to toss someone for.
He didn't yell an obscenity though.  Just told him to wake up.  Don't think he deserved to get thrown out or anything.  There's been much worse said to players than that.

Should win at least 3 against the Marlins I hope.
sweep would be great!  Eflin pitched masterfully!  Good to see the bats finally come alive.  Go Phils!

    SWEEP!

Cabrerra was a great pick up or so it looks like so far.  Great pitching and clutch hitting when it counted. Kinda reminds me of the Sixers.  Everyone thought they would be better but no one was expecting them to be this good.

was great to see Werth come out today and get a loud ovation after years of idiots booing him here. Not gonna lie got some tears in the eyes watching that team introduced.  I didn't get to see saturdays ceremony with Halladay's wife. I'm sure i would have balled at that too.

Maybe needs a few days off. Racking up a lot of innings for the first time.

Good to see Jake hitting 93 in the 8th though.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard a stadium as quiet as that place was last night. It sounded like McCarthy and Ben Davis were alone in a sound proof booth calling that game.
