    Set up a UPS My Choice account, it's free. Make sure you use the same email address you used for your Pono order. I was in the same boat you are in and when I set up my account it showed on my calendar a delivering scheduled for the 16th from PCH International.

    I think I saw a post about the "scanning music library" issue on here, but not sure.

    Nonetheless, here is a fix for that (taken from the ponomusic community site):

    After restart you have a few seconds to navigate menus before it shifts to “scanning music library”. Navigate to Settings, and then to “theme”. If you can’t get there in time, just restart and it’ll remember where you were. The goal is to change the theme. That forces a reset, and voila, you’re back in action.

    I case you were wondering why you are getting that error, it's probably because you have a file that is not recognized by the player. My issue stemmed from some FLAC files that were encoded incorrectly.

    Also, don't fill up your player or microSD card all the way, leave a little on each (I leave about 1GB on each) so that the index file can be written while it's scanning for new music.

    Thanks for the info! I did sign up for the UPS Choice account and it's still not showing any projected delivery dates on my calendar. It's still showing that a UPS label has been created and once it arrives at their facility that tracking info will be updated however that was 4 days ago. Did you have a similar experience?

    Since this shipment requires a signature I want to make sure I'll be around when it's delivered so I'm just trying to get a feel of how long it takes to be delivered once you receive the shipment notification from Pono.

    My shipping confirmation is the same as a lot of people. Label created on 12/8, but no additional information. It appears they printed off a bunch of labels/did the billing with UPS to get tracking numbers for the 12/8 deadline they set. However it doesn't appear they're even close to having these things shipped out.

    I just had to send mine back. It gets stuck on the pono splash screen and locks up. PONO customer service has been awesome, so far. They even sent me a loaner Yellow PONO while mine is getting worked on. Hopefully they can fix the problem.

    FYI - The Ponos were boxed and individual labels were printed in China, then were bulked shipped from China to the U.S. We'll have to wait for the distributor in the U.S. to get the shipment, then for the individual packages to be routed to their final destinations before they start showing in UPS' system.

    Oh great, that means I won't be seeing my Pono anytime soon I guess. Are there backers on here who were lucky enough to score the PJ LE Pono that are still waiting to receive theirs?

    I missed out on the PJ one but purchased the Foo Fighters LE instead so I could be sure of getting my hands on one in the Oct. time frame. Now December is starting to close out and I'm still waiting. Story of my life...hurry up and wait.

    I hope in 2015 Pearl Jam will be able to release a few of their albums @ the Pono Music Store in 24 Bit 192 kHz quality. If they are working on the reissue of No Code & Yield for '15, please let it be released in 192 kHz glory!! O:-)

    Ok, so mine landed in Australia. Now I don't normally whinge and am still happy i got the Pono, but have to note I am extremely disappointed with how it is presented.

    Australia is one country that blocked the Bamboo box, but to have nothing in its place to make it a true collectible for $415 USD about $500 AUD, it's unbelievable to me.

    It is only presented in the card board box it was delivered in, of which you have to rip open to get to the player.

    Fark me. Really poor.

    Mine arrived on Friday (Burlington, Ontario, Canada) via UPS - wasn't home so we got the delivery sticker - complete with $98 COD charge - I say the previous posts on how to self clear the item via CBSA but still the charge is ridiculous

    PS- One of my buddies was one of the ones who had December 8th listed as the ship date but with no further updates at all since then. He just got an email from myUPS that delivery is scheduled for tomorrow. Hope it's the same for the rest of you who are waiting.

    Fuck Mine was scheduled to ship on the 9th, I went to bed last night with nothing still listed since the sticker was printed, and I went to post office this morning and came back to an attempted delivery status.. Fuckin pissed right now!!! Oh well hope wife is home when they try tomorrow.

    Also it says 2 packages from pono is the sd card packed separate?
