    Would it be because your car stereo only plays MP3 or WAV?   If you have FLAC on the PONO it may not work with your car stereo.

    That shouldn't matter. When you plug a phone or independent player into an AUX, it should be connected to the headphone jack of the device.  The car stereo just plays the audio coming through the cable... format doesn't matter.

    lol yea that album is pretty bad.  Le Noise is the only one that I loved in a long time.

    i don't regret buying the pono one bit. as a device for playing hires audio, it's hardly garbage. mine lasted six years or so before i moved on to something else.

    I of course went to see him again at the United Palace, which I think was one of the first shows there when live nation was trying to find non tm venues before they merged. Fire alarm delayed the show 90 minutes. Total firetrap. I did speak with Jimmy Fallon there standing outside in 20 degree weather, which was kind of cool. It was better than Radio CIty but Neil was mailing it in to just get out of there. I do not blame him for that.
