    So back to the headphones conversation, I picked up some Seinheiser Momentum over ears since they were on sale this weekend at Amazon. The week prior I got the Sony MDR-V6 which are half the price. I'm now listening with both and I know it sounds crazy, but I may prefer the Sony. Everything just sounds more crisp, whereas the Momentums sound almost muffled in comparison. Am I crazy?

    Easy... Use file Explorer and put them on the SD

    So you don't go thru the Pono World app/program directly. Drop it on the micro SD card directly, then it will be recoginzed by the Pono after you plug it in?? K. Will try that. Thanks.

    Yes, correct. I don't use the Pono software. It's not ready for primetime.

    PMW shows two separate drives when it syncs with your Pono. The first should be the internal memory and the second should be the microSD card. Drag the songs, albums, playlists, etc to whichever one you want.

    You might need to turn off autosync.

    No, I had the exact same experience recently... I have Audio Technica ATH-M50s and I recently bought the Momentums... sounded muffled compared to the M50s... Returning the Momentums and going to try the NAD VISO HP50s... should be here today...

    I got a shipment notification earlier today and when I got home it had been delivered! After all the wait, that's pretty crazy!

    My first impression was not the best, the unit seemed flimsy with all the plastic parts (Buttons and SD Card Cover) seeming pretty week. The sound did not blow me away right away, but after I added my fiio amp there was a bit of an improvement. I don't know, I'm definitely questioning the whole thing. I was expecting to be blown away. Maybe I ruined it for myself by listening to only flacs for the past few months. But still, it should have been a vast improvement over listening to flacs off the iphone. Maybe my headphones aren't as great as I though, but still there should have been a significant difference. I have the kef m500s btw.

    I'm going to try to hook it up to my home stereo and see.

    Returned my Sennheiser Momentums and bought the NAD VISO HP50s.... WOW! Incredible headphones.... Not as harsh as my ATH-M50s and not as muffled as the Momentums... Highly Recommend!

    Everything I am reading says there is no noticeable difference between cd/flac and the hi-res audio being hyped up and pimped out

    That is why you don't notice a difference, because there isn't one

    And I love Neil Young like he is actually my Uncle... but this is all hype and bullshit

    Not sure if this was posted yet, but here's a great link my friend sent me that actually lets you listen to 5 different tracks in high def vs compressed. You can take the test to see if you can really tell the difference and can toggle back and forth which is really cool. I think this is the first time I actually appreciated the Momentums. I couldn't tell the difference with the Sony MDR-V6 but the Momentum allowed me to get 4/5 of the test correct. Still not sure if that means I'm wasting my money since it was REALLY tough in some cases to tell the difference. Let me know what you guys think:

    How'd you return them? Most places don't accept open headphones, i tried at futureshop and they said no.
