    OK.
  • OK.

 I actually still think you don't get it.

Don't take things out of context. Don't blow everything that's said on the interwebs into something it's not.

Have a great holiday. Hopefully, when your mom tells you dinner's on, you don't go outside and look on the roof.
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.

I actually quite like this years single. Jay Z is amazing btw, haters gonna hate. And I find the b side to be quite cute and enduring. I'm not going to go thru this thread but I can imagine it's filled with 90% bitching and whining. Oh well...

It's really nice to close out the year once again proving how entitled this fanbase is.

I don't think people expressing frustration and disappointment is the same thing
as entitlement. The Ten Club represents the most loving and loyal of all PJ's fan base.
So, I think when a large number if us complain about something
it's probably for a good reason. I'm sure the last thing anyone wants to be is a sheep.

  • That people should just be grateful that this band does anything at all for their fans.

Raeding these forums, you get the sense this fanclub can do nothing right, ever.

That's funny. Reading these forums I often get the impression the fan club can do nothing wrong, ever.

Worst Christmas Single ever released unfortunately. Feels like they didn't think about a single until the last minute and used what they could find. :o

I've been called both a hater and a 10c apologist. around here, if you defend the club, the club/band can apparently do no wrong. if you criticize them/the band, all of a sudden you are entitled.

do some people complain about/defend the band/fan club ad nauseum? YES, a small fraction of us. The rest comment on a case-by-case basis. But don't lump everyone into one category because they don't fit your idea of how someone should react to something that they pay for.

  • I do like the duet with Jeanne, she's still a hottie and has a great voice.

The Jay-Z song takes the crown as the WORST Pearl Jam release EVER!!, finally toppling EV's Molo Sessions!! The guy makes me wanna vomit!!

What's next year's Xmas single gonna be? A selection from his wife's "accidental" $1 million payday concert for Muammar Gaddafi??

    This doesn't make any sense.

    Jay Z's wife .. Beyonce (not Ed's) :)

    I know. But i don't care anymore.
  • First time in how long that the holiday single comes out around the holidays, and it isnt even worth listening to. I'd rather have waited 6 more months for something half way decent.

You're talking about 10C tickets (I guess best seats inside a given venue), I was talking about tickets sold on this website (10C reserved tickets or not). Communication breakdown...

A-side is great, b-side not so much

Anyone who has a problem with PJ playing WMA (and Ed teasing WWS) while Jay Z raps 99 Problems is nuts. And I am anything but a Jay Z fan.

That's an odd definition of "nuts". I think "W.M.A." would be a great sample for a rap track, just not this rap track, and by someone better than Jay Z.

I don't even hate 99 Problems as a Jay-Z song (I mean, I don't listen to it, but I've got no probs with it). I just don't understand why the 10C Christmas single is another artist's hit song. It doesn't make any good sense to me at all. Say it had been Jay-Z doing a PJ song - that would have made sense. Or even an obvious mash-up might have been cool. But Jay-Z singing his own mega hit (with a WMA baseline that most people don't even notice until someone mentions it) just seems dumb to me.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata

Outside of Ed not doing vocals, I don't see how this cover is any different from any other cover song they have released for an x-mas single.
