Hi E & T (?) A rare visit here for me. Tried using logic in selecting State Theatre as first option for Sydney, as I'm sure Opera House will be first preference for most. Both great venues though. Logic for PJ/Ed? Yep, a first for me!! :roll: Thanks Santa

Hippeeeeee! Hopefully Neil Finn can somehow be in Aus a month early for his tour and play a song with Ed at the Opera House. Or The Boss. I'm not fussed as to which.

This is very exciting news!

When I saw Eddie's show in Sydney I bought through Ticketmaster because I wasn't a 10C member at the time. I got 2nd row tickets and it was amazing.

There are two Brisbane shows though .. February 22 and 23.

Just go to the one which is not on your birthday.

Hmmmm ... should I leave my ticket in the raffle or pull them and just buy them through Ticketmaster?? I don't want to be all the way up the back if Ticketmaster will ensure I get a much better seat ... how fast are these tickets going to sell out?!? ... don't want to get greedy and miss out completely ... any one got some advice?

That's why I'm buying through Qtix this time and not 10 club. Qtix gave me 6th row for the Cornell solo show in 2011 and I'm hoping to get just as good for Mr Vedder.

Last tour I went to 4 shows, best seats were through TM but I was solo hence a little easier getting good seats!

Thanks for that, any one have an opinion on how quickly these tickets are going to sell out? will be Melbourne show, so I would think probably not as fast as the opera house

I think the Opera House show will be very difficult to get tickets for...the last time I tried to buy tickets from the Opera House (for Flight of the Conchords) it was absolutely impossible to get a ticket and they pretty much sold out instantly.

I had success with ticketmaster for EV when I intentionally chose to buy tickets for the third show, in the hope that other people would be trying for the first show. I'm not sure if my theory was correct, but I ended up with incredible seats.

What preferences did you put in for the 10C lottery?

I only need single tickets so I think I will just buy directly. If 10C offered single tickets I would try for the Opera House, then buy from ticketmaster for the state theatre or any other venues.

If I can get tickets I'm even thinking about travelling to other shows...I've been searching on expedia for flights to get an idea of the cost and looking at accommodation prices. I'll probably be lucky to get one ticket in Sydney though!
