So many special moments. Pendulum is outrageously beautiful and really feels like a bonus song when followed by a traditional opener. Wash was my first ever song at my first ever pj show over 21 years ago. The new songs sound so great live. Future days is way better live than studio. All those yesterdays, in hiding?!?? Jeff was fierce on leaving here. Mike was clearly possessed by some other worldly force. Stone was rocking out! On ritfw he was crazy! They were all having a great time and were feeding of of the crowd. The energy was incredible in the building! I was hoping for that so much and got it. Nothingman..."burn, burn Nothingmaaaaan!" And yes... I sang my heart out during betterman. Unbelievable! And who the hell has energy for DTE, go, porch, whipping, BLOOD after already playing 24 songs??? Black was indescribable the solo, the crowd, the tag...everything needed for an epic black. My mind is blown. Best band on the face of the earth!

    Onto Philly! :D

I am in awe of tonight. I'm not even going to try because there are just no words. It's just a smile, a chuckle, and a shake of the head. I don't know if there is an author alive who could put this feeling into words.

When the boot for tonight comes out I'm going to buy it in every available format, so that when he/she is old enough I can play it for my future godson/daughter and tell him/her that this was the first PJ show he/she ever attended with me, while in utero at 4 months to the day. Then I'ma make the little fucker understand exactly how special this setlist was

Enjoy Philly everyone. See you on Friday.

Congratulations. Both on the baby and the show. That's one lucky baby in utero.

You were also planning to do the Big Day Out shows in Australia and NZ, rite? So I think that baby will have seen more shows than me, before being born.
What's your part, who you are?

  • I was thinking that too, I loved Stone last night!!

This pair of shows was so far beyond anything I could have expected or imagined.

The LB songs soud SO good.

Eddie sounds incredible. Way better than he has in years.

I just can't believe something this totally magical can still happen.

In Hiding is always a tremendous experience for me live and I couldn't believe how loud the crowd was singing it, at least in my section. ATY was amazing. PT was a real highlight too. That song can fit anywhere in a setlist and can be so many different things. It was really tight.

Can't say enough either about the Barclay Center. So much density of entrances and concessions that it hardly felt crowded even right before the show. Never seen lines so manageable at concessions. The staff there have been exceptionally chosen and trained to be the most courteous and professional that I've seen at any major venue like this.

It also was helpful that there were some staff members from the venue directing you to the Dean Street door as both nights I went there and no lines getting in.

I d like to mention how classy and polite everyone was who worked at the Barclays center. Everything was great except for the debacle dealing with day of show tickets.

I thought it would be impossible to top Brooklyn 1, but this show was amazing. They can open with Pendulum every show as far as I'm concerned. Ed's voice is so beautifully haunting. Great crowd and the band was really feeding off the energy. I never saw Jeff and Stone this animated, loved when the 4 guys jammed on their guitars together in a circle. McCready left me speechless - laying on the floor playing his guitar! They can pull their setlist out of a hat and it would perfect, but to get to see Wash... Rats... and when Blood started I thought my head was gonna explode! :o I haven't slept in 2 days and I totally lost my voice but I never felt so good in my life. We are the luckiest fans in the world.

    HOOOOOOOLLLY SHITBALLS EV BATMAN PICK!!

The whole place was fucking ROCKING! I was in 203 row 1 night 1, never again in That building for a concert! Steep as fuck and a 10" glass window as fall protection! HA! I was rocking the fuck out in crouched position ALL NIGHT, back is fucked x 10!

Night 2, sec 23. MIND FUCKING BLOWN!!! Barger395, dancing on cue from across the arena, Chief Broom way up top knocking like 5 songs off the bucket list! Just complete bananas!

Rivaling quite a few sick shows I've seen...

I don't know what else to say... I'm chillin with my villains on a rooftop in Brooklyn right now...

    I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!

  • What an amazing show. I went to night 1 and I thought that was good. But then night 2.... OMG

I took a friend of mine that has never been to a PJ show, I don't know if he could've gotten a better show for his first show.

Thank You PJ and all the great people I met over the course of 2 great nights in Brooklyn.

They brought the A game last night!

The sound and the flow was much better. That was the type of show you chase.

And I finally got to hear WASH!

I knocked off Oceans and Blood the last two nights, plus All Those Yesterdays was nice to hear.

    Brilliant!

Not cool. I wonder who invests and protects Pearl Jam's and Mr. Vedder's vast wealth? Is he hiding it under his pillow? No, of course not.

A lot of people in NYC work in finance, not cool to come to the city and insult those people. I believe he made another comment earlier in show aimed at Wall Street also.

That is one of the funniest things I have ever read on here. I agree though, I saw Uncle Neil from up in the 200's and that was the last show I will ever see from there.

"Invest and protect?" Are you fucking kidding me? I know plenty of people who work in finance and truthfully, I think it's a terrible way to spend your time on this planet. Some are even my friends but I think they're complete fucking assholes for the industry they work in and I've told them so. I'm happy Ed talks shit.
