Anyways I don't know how to describe tonight. It was my second Pearl Jam show with my first being last night. When I left Friday I said "That was the greatest setlist imaginable. They won't beat this. It's impossible. There's no songs left." Um...well I was wrong I guess because Saturday was the better show by far, a lot of that because of how amazing the crowd was! It was a whoooole different feeling in there. On Friday I was the only person moving in Section 229...tonight in 114 everybody was going crazy!

I already ranted in my topic on the main board about how excited I was to hear all the hits I wanted to hear (Black, Even Flow, Alive, Betterman, Do the Evolution) but I never expected to hear some of the songs I wanted that aren't quite as big...All Those Yesterdays, In Hiding, and Rats all tonight I loved!!! I got to hear SO much of Vs. over the past two days! Heard Go, Daughter, Rearviewmirror, Elderly Woman, Indifference, Rats, Dissident, and Blood! That's my favorite PJ album and I can't believe how much of it I got to see!!!!

Once was AMAZING tonight. I saw somebody say they should play it more because both casual and hardcore fans know it. This is so true. That was the moment the show turned around from being very good to being amazing. Once and everything after it was on another level. Just a total other level.

Just amazing show. The only negatives I can think of is that A. The lightning bolts on Lightning Bolt is really really really cheesy, and B. They should have reprised Small Town and Corduroy with that crowd! Do the Evolution and Given to Fly were repeats but IMO they were so much better Night 2 with a crowd that into it. i see why they didnt especially with how much new stuff they repeated but I STILL WANTED IT.

Also Pendulum should be the intro to every show. I think it's perfect and especially if you think of Song 2 as the real "opener". Crowd went crazy for Wash, and I never thought much of the song tonight and now I love it..same with Rockin in the Free World.

I am in awe of tonight. I'm not even going to try because there are just no words. It's just a smile, a chuckle, and a shake of the head. I don't know if there is an author alive who could put this feeling into words.

When the boot for tonight comes out I'm going to buy it in every available format, so that when he/she is old enough I can play it for my future godson/daughter and tell him/her that this was the first PJ show he/she ever attended with me, while in utero at 4 months to the day. Then I'ma make the little fucker understand exactly how special this setlist was

Enjoy Philly everyone. See you on Friday.

I agree, Mike was definitely possessed. But in a fucking great/amazing way. :)

I was in 209 about fourth row from the top.

I was in 209 in the second to last row. Vertigo-inducing seats, but once the show started that went away. Steal any and all pictures.

Last night was my 13th show and Pearl Jam was about as close to perfection as I've ever seen. The extended jams last night on songs where there usually are not extended jams (IMMORTALITY) were amazing. There were parts of RATS that I thought were beautiful. Ed's speech about broken people was really nice. I love that Ed was coaching the crowd a bit to be more like South America during BETTERMAN. BETTERMAN felt richer than I've ever heard. All rides with Pearl Jam are good, but is it just me or when LAST EXIT appears early on a setlist you know you're in for a wild ride that night?

It's fun that over the course of two nights I finally heard OCEANS and BLOOD (I think Blood is why I have no voice this morning). With those two songs I've now seen all of TEN and VS. live. Tonight was really special. Can't wait to find out what else they pull out the rest of the first leg and to see them again on the second leg. Last night will stay with me for a long time.

Brooklyn #2 was show number 40 for me. Best PJ show I have seen for one simple reason; I took my 8 year old daughter to her first PJ show/ non Disney concert tonight. We started her off early with the Lullaby versions. She has heard a ton since. I "caught" her a few months back listening to them on her own. We were in the pit/ ga. She loved it. Thanks to all around us. You helped make it an amazing night. Can't wait for Glendale.

I never get tired of saying - what a show. Can't believe my 3 oldest sons (9, 12 and just about 14) got this show for their first. It's all downhill from here kids!!!!

Angry Ed night 1, Happy, peace making Ed night 2. Persoanally, show wise I like Angry Ed. But fun, peace loving Ed is a close 2nd. the rest of the band just goes with the flow (though I will say Stone seemed in a better mood too, maybe Ed's mood effects him the most bc he only has Boom to talk to on his side  ).
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.

Put it this way. I need facial reconstructive surgery, because this band melted my face off. First time in the pit. First time in front of Mike. First time walking out of a show with a pick. First time knowing every single person around me was equally excited to be at the show as I was. First time hearing so many tracks, even at show sixteen. Last time I'll see this band in a while? Probably. But that's because it was the first time I saw a truly perfect Pearl Jam show, in every single way.

IMHO...Night 1 was a soundcheck compared to night 2. Night 1 was littered by frustrations and technical issues. Night 2 just went to a place few shows ever do right from the get go. Wash song 2?! Are you kidding?!

Timmy, Nicole, Jamey, Colin, Donna, Su May, Ken, Ron, Aaron and Shannon...Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

    Cheers and be well,

So many special moments. Pendulum is outrageously beautiful and really feels like a bonus song when followed by a traditional opener. Wash was my first ever song at my first ever pj show over 21 years ago. The new songs sound so great live. Future days is way better live than studio. All those yesterdays, in hiding?!?? Jeff was fierce on leaving here. Mike was clearly possessed by some other worldly force. Stone was rocking out! On ritfw he was crazy! They were all having a great time and were feeding of of the crowd. The energy was incredible in the building! I was hoping for that so much and got it. Nothingman..."burn, burn Nothingmaaaaan!" And yes... I sang my heart out during betterman. Unbelievable! And who the hell has energy for DTE, go, porch, whipping, BLOOD after already playing 24 songs??? Black was indescribable the solo, the crowd, the tag...everything needed for an epic black. My mind is blown. Best band on the face of the earth!

Congratulations. Both on the baby and the show. That's one lucky baby in utero.

You were also planning to do the Big Day Out shows in Australia and NZ, rite? So I think that baby will have seen more shows than me, before being born.

I was thinking that too, I loved Stone last night!!

This pair of shows was so far beyond anything I could have expected or imagined.

The LB songs soud SO good.

Eddie sounds incredible. Way better than he has in years.

I just can't believe something this totally magical can still happen.

In Hiding is always a tremendous experience for me live and I couldn't believe how loud the crowd was singing it, at least in my section. ATY was amazing. PT was a real highlight too. That song can fit anywhere in a setlist and can be so many different things. It was really tight.

Can't say enough either about the Barclay Center. So much density of entrances and concessions that it hardly felt crowded even right before the show. Never seen lines so manageable at concessions. The staff there have been exceptionally chosen and trained to be the most courteous and professional that I've seen at any major venue like this.

It also was helpful that there were some staff members from the venue directing you to the Dean Street door as both nights I went there and no lines getting in.

I d like to mention how classy and polite everyone was who worked at the Barclays center. Everything was great except for the debacle dealing with day of show tickets.

I thought it would be impossible to top Brooklyn 1, but this show was amazing. They can open with Pendulum every show as far as I'm concerned. Ed's voice is so beautifully haunting. Great crowd and the band was really feeding off the energy. I never saw Jeff and Stone this animated, loved when the 4 guys jammed on their guitars together in a circle. McCready left me speechless - laying on the floor playing his guitar! They can pull their setlist out of a hat and it would perfect, but to get to see Wash... Rats... and when Blood started I thought my head was gonna explode! :o I haven't slept in 2 days and I totally lost my voice but I never felt so good in my life. We are the luckiest fans in the world.

    HOOOOOOOLLLY SHITBALLS EV BATMAN PICK!!

The whole place was fucking ROCKING! I was in 203 row 1 night 1, never again in That building for a concert! Steep as fuck and a 10" glass window as fall protection! HA! I was rocking the fuck out in crouched position ALL NIGHT, back is fucked x 10!

Night 2, sec 23. MIND FUCKING BLOWN!!! Barger395, dancing on cue from across the arena, Chief Broom way up top knocking like 5 songs off the bucket list! Just complete bananas!

Rivaling quite a few sick shows I've seen...

I don't know what else to say... I'm chillin with my villains on a rooftop in Brooklyn right now...

    I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!

What an amazing show. I went to night 1 and I thought that was good. But then night 2.... OMG

I took a friend of mine that has never been to a PJ show, I don't know if he could've gotten a better show for his first show.

Thank You PJ and all the great people I met over the course of 2 great nights in Brooklyn.

They brought the A game last night!

The sound and the flow was much better. That was the type of show you chase.

And I finally got to hear WASH!
