The sound and the flow was much better. That was the type of show you chase.

And I finally got to hear WASH!

I knocked off Oceans and Blood the last two nights, plus All Those Yesterdays was nice to hear.

    Brilliant!

Not cool. I wonder who invests and protects Pearl Jam's and Mr. Vedder's vast wealth? Is he hiding it under his pillow? No, of course not.

A lot of people in NYC work in finance, not cool to come to the city and insult those people. I believe he made another comment earlier in show aimed at Wall Street also.

I was rocking the fuck out in crouched position ALL NIGHT, back is fucked x 10!

That is one of the funniest things I have ever read on here. I agree though, I saw Uncle Neil from up in the 200's and that was the last show I will ever see from there.

"Invest and protect?" Are you fucking kidding me? I know plenty of people who work in finance and truthfully, I think it's a terrible way to spend your time on this planet. Some are even my friends but I think they're complete fucking assholes for the industry they work in and I've told them so. I'm happy Ed talks shit.

I was actually thinking the same thing. Wall Street is not just the CEOs, it's the working class types who commute in from Queens and Brooklyn and elsewhere, which is why it was disappointing to hear that, but what are you going to do I guess.

  • Night one was great fun. Night two was a religious experience.

The highlights for me were Hail, Hail, Down, Sirens, Evenflow, Infallible, Present Tense, Immortality, SOLAT, Once, Given to Fly (SO much better night two with that crowd), Better Man JAM, Footsteps, Go, Porch, Blood!, Black, Alive, Rockin in the Free World, YLB, and Mike Fuckin McCready. And Matt Fuckin Cameron. And Mike Fuckin McCready.

The crowd was nuts. Eddie told us we were like a great wave. He was so into it all night. Unbelievable show.

First off, its a fucking disgrace how many people don't take their hats off during the National Anthem. Had to get that out.

Now, the show. My 56th. I truly and honestly believe, it was the best show post 2000. The energy in that room last night was really fucking special. I adored watching Ed's wife love the band and crowd. Sometimes everything just comes together perfectly. Tonight was that night. Shock and pleasantly surprised by how small GA was! I appreciate the band so much right now. Outside of family and a few old friends... PJ is the only thing I've loved for over twenty years. That's it for me this tour. Back to being a dad. To all of you with your upcoming shows, enjoy!!

The only bad thing was rail security's inability to care about rail people's uber thirstyness.

  • Thank you Sea!!! This show was the best....Pearl Jam is like no other band in the world. Thank you guys for a terrific evening and the best 20+ years of my life.
  • Wow-I feel so blessed to have been at this show last night!!!! :D:D:D Even though I was basically the only one rocking out in my section, I had the time of my life! Hearing the LB songs live was such a treat, and hearing some of my favorites, such as Nothingman, Present Tense, In Hiding, Immortality, State of Love and Trust was absolutely fantastic!! This is one show I will never forget-I have loved every single PJ show I've ever attended, but this one was one for the ages. Thank you, PJ-how fortunate we all are to be fans of this band!!! :D:D

It was so quick and kinda hard as everyone gathered at aisles end. I shot like 2 shots but none came out. At first my ticket buddy and I both thought there was a fight in the crowd or something, but soon saw the bodyguard leading Mike up and down right past us. He didnt miss a beat, either. .

    insane.

Incredible shows the last two nights, but this one is the winner - show #35 for me. Great setlist, but I didn't know until it was over that three entire albums were ignored (Binaural, Riot Act, Avocado - not to mention, only one song from Backspacer), so what we got amounted to a 1998 tour show plus Lightning Bolt & "Unthought Known". Anyway, whether it was intentional or not, I loved every second of it.

No complaints either getting to see both shows from sections 8 and 107 respectively; I felt really bad for those in the 200's. See everyone in Philly!

  • i am speechless. i am without speech.

i had seats first row, right behind the stage, on stones side. best seats i have ever had. the energy in that building last night was fucking amazing. i get such a rush from these live shows. the setlist was amazing. the band was playing tight and fast and they were just fucking rocking. especially mccready. he was on a whole new level last night. eddie sounded amazing.

im pretty sure eddie has quit smoking. we were right where he stands when mike goes on his solo in evenflow, which was fucking amazing btw, if you take a piss during that song you miss something special. he wasnt smoking. ive seen him do that in the past. boom smokes though.

anyway. ive been to philly 4 in 09, MSG 2 in 10 and now these two brooklyn. i cant even compare which ones were better. theyre all amazing and have their own individual highlights.

thank you pearl jam. see you in a week at hartford. PLAY GETAWAY! :D

My seats were section 29, mikes side/ back stage.....did not take away from the experience at all. Night 1 and night 2 were different but in a good way. Sound was much better for us behind stage than in the 200's and we were in the 2nd row up there.

Got to see how the band and techs work. Saw Dennis moving around from side stage to a seat to the pit. Eds kids there....cool to see the boys breaking out the Heinekens and hugging and toasting each other behind the drum kit while Mike was tearin it up. They looked like they were having a blast! You can really tell how hard they work. Man, I was there for 2 shows, danced the whole time, had a few drinks and I am exhausted....I don't know how they do it!

    Ridiculous! That show was AMAZING!!
Thank you fellow 10 clubber for saving my ass....again!!!
