Just a heads up for those that didn't order the Vault or no experience with Mail innovations, if you're tracking at UPS, the arrival date is when it will be handed over to USPS, so it'll take longer than expected. Took my Vault almost 2 weeks to get to me and that was without any holidays.

What a crock of loose, steaming, khaki colored, partially solid but mostly liquid donkey balls ass shit anus toilet seat. Piss drinking fire ant eating goat banging sword swallowing cactus ramming dumpster nymph. Syphilis swilling aardvark licking wombat balls. There. Had to say it.

Here I am out of straight determination not going to listen to any downloads, nor buy the cd, nor read the reviews nor listen to anything except the singles on the radio until I can sit and open the vinyl like I did when I first opened Vs. It's a tradition. Damn it all, ya'll.

I would think if I was promising something to a client, I would have it in my hands and confirmed from the supplier that there would be no issues, I would also have in place a buffer. They should have had the album 2-3weeks before the release date. Idk, just how I do things at my job I guess.

No luck finding it in Calgary today. Heard anything from check back tomorrow (because Thanksgiving delayed things), to check back next week.
    Guess I'll try again tomorrow.

 I hear ya, man. Thanks for getting is off your chest....glad we could lend you an ear ;) It's a real head-scratcher that on or before the release date physical copies are not in the hands of those who pre-ordered from the band's fan club :fp:
  • I went to my local record shop and all they had was the CD. The manager there told me that Pearl Jam took the majority of the first pressings for their fan club and that he will not have any in store for at least 4 weeks.

Then I went to Target just for the CD since it's on sale for $10 and they were all sold out.
  • not here in Austin TX.......i can download my digital copy though even though I have not received it, so at least i have that to hold me over till I can get my hands on the vinyl

What is this Mail Innovations anyway? And what the hell is so innovative about sucking at your job?

Heres an idea - Why dont we have the biggest build up to any pearl jam album ever and a stupid countdown clock on the homepage counting down to release day for months then on release day have no record available for a large portion of the club. Download will have to do for now but its a bit of anti climax.

Get the frustration and really wish I had album in hand. Had the cd in hand day early and could download as promised. I'm though also so happy my favorite band still releases albums and allows me to conveniently order both cd and vinyl easily. The manufacturer fked up but ultimately it was Pj's fault but in grand scheme of it all I'll be okay. Just don't think I can keep from listening to cd before album as that was the romantic reliving of what I once enjoyed. Playing side one and then flipping to play other side.

No vinyl or CD in Dallas. Although due to arrive 10/17, it is still sitting in Auburn WA since Oct. 8th with no movement.
I'm disappointed, but whatcha gonna do? iTunes isn't the same at all as unwrapping the vinyl and holding it in your hands old school. That's how I prefer to roll, but it didn't happen this time. Oh well. Plenty of pics & reports from others when the vinyl does start arriving!!

My estimated delivery date is 10/21. The cd and Vault vinyl will hold me over.

Always knew that living in the UK I wouldn't get the vinyl from 10c round release date. I'm ok with that.

End of the day shit happens in life, if the manufacturer has fucked up there isn't much 10c/PJ can do. Maybe communication could be better but hey-ho. It's First World Problems at the end of the day :lol::lol:

My Vinyl has not even shipped yet, still says it is ready for pickup by UPS. But 10c got the CD to me early, so all is good.
