There was basically nobody there to pick up tickets. Why not let people with tickets go to a merch booth first and then throw the rest out for everybody?

Got in merch line at 11:30. Waited 3 hrs in scorching heat. The posters and baseball cards are rad as hell though. I can't believe I'm saying this but they are worth it.

Key info: they sell out of posters after about 1.5 hrs and replenish every 2 hrs. A poster derivative line forms after regular merch purchase as they wait for more posters to come in. Again, every two hours or so.

Line was easily 500 deep per stand.

Are we talking about a rock and roll show or a Chuck E. Cheese? Are you people using your skee-ball tickets to get your wristbands, stickers and playing cards?

    Good lord people.....Be more materialistic.

well if the were replenishing anything they sure as hell were not announcing it, or telling us after they were all gone and we got into line with no options.

use to make it mandatory to get me a poster from every show I attended. Then got tired of lugging that shit around. Sure it's just a tube, but I didn't like having to carry it the entire show. Heard stories of people sitting tube in their chair, only to turn around and see it gone. Therefore, placing the tube down was never an option for me.

Waited 2 hours in Missoula, only to be told "ALL POSTERS are now gone!" right as I was about to get to the front. Realized I could have used those 2 hours to throw back some beers and take it all in. Wasted 2 hours, and I GOT SHIT. I will never waste time in line again. Would rather use that time to drink and enjoy it all.

    5.5 hours in line today.

EMEK prints sold out 5 people in front of me, but was able to get the Shuss Cracker Jack.

I never want to see another merch stand or a fucking que/line, for that matter.

Chicago is such a great city and you guys are waiting in line all day.

I did make it to sky deck in Willis Tower and now I'm about to eat at Giordano's! So the day wasn't a total lost...oh did I mention I got some posters.

Stood in line from 1:45 until 7:00. 2 of us got 4 shirts, 4 packs of trading cards, 4 stickers - person in front of us got the last 2 posters. Hot as hell - met some awesome people in line - so that helped. I am exhausted... Resting up now for tomorrow.

I know it sucks to stand in a slow moving line when you have so much anticipation. Some of the best memories I have from my epic shows (PJ20 and Missoula) are the people I met an dc BSed with while standing in the rainy and hot lines. Other PJ fans make it worthwhile beforehand. PJ makes it worthwhile after that.

Just imagine if they didn't offer up any PJ merchandise Wednesday & Thursday. And only merch was sold, the day of the show like every other PJ show? DAMN!

Think any of these PJ items will be sold @ the 10club store?
    Especially the Box Set?

ah that's easy, they will be using venue merch staff, I bet Cubs don't sell a great deal of merch at games, so this sheer level of lunacy will have really been an eye opener for them.

Of course they will have been warned, but the frenzy at pj merch stands is pretty much unrivalled it seems

This is all the fault of popcorn - it has a lot to answer for. Well we can't completely blame popcorn I guess, but it can all be traced back to the introduction of popcorn. Damn you popcorn! Damn you!

If it was sold inside the lines would be shorter.

anyone can check a completed listing search on ebay today and see the ridiculous sums being paid. The last two days have poured fuel on that, and now the demand will likely be even more nuts today

For an approximation.... fahrenheit to celsius: minus 30 then divide by 2.
celsius to fahrenheit: multiply by 2 then add 30

    If I recall from back in school the formula was F - 32 x 5/9 =C
    and C x 9/5 +32 = F

That is absolutely true. Talked to my friend who works for the Cubs. The Merch stands at concerts are manned by Cubs employees. Yeah, being a Cubs fan, I've never waited more than 2 seconds to buy merch. They were extremely slow and overwhelmed yesterday. Extremely slow, no sense of urgency (and why should they, they don't get paid any extra).
