I think if Halifax gets the common wealth games their might be a new arena built, so that might bring more big shows like pj back. I still think they will play this tour tho.
i am hoping that PJ plays Halifax as a send off to Europe. i am spent out for this year, so i won't be able to go. but if they do, i will toast the maritimes!
if they wait until next year, i'll be back!!
Down the street you can hear her scream youre a disgrace
As she slams the door in his drunken face
And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green
Last night's performance on SNL - another reason Halifax needs a Pearl Jam encore. They seem like an angrier, rawer more agressive PJ than previous years. Am I right east coast PJ fans?
Couldn't agree more. I think a show here this tour would be more mind blowing (if thats even possible) than the first. And I know it would turn more people around here onto PJ - hopefully the radio too.
If PJ comes back to the Maritime provinces I hope to make the show, unless they goto St. Johns. My wife and I are buying a house so money is going to be tight.
"It comes in a 8-pack where's the other 7. We've got band member up here they're dry ... We'd like some more beer, beer for the band and all our friends. Let's go." - Vedder (2005.09.22 Halifax)
The Halifax show in september was absolutly amazing. I bought the show off the site after the concert... and still when I listen to it I get the chills. If they came back to the maritimes, I would be there in a instant. I am going to see them in TO in may, but another maritime show would be greatly appreciated!!
I was going to buy TO tickets, but I ASSumed they wouldn't pass over Montreal.
There are no curse words that can suffice............................................
I wonder if Neil Young and PJ will hook up for some tour dates later this year? Can you imagine if we could get a Neil Young/PJ double-bill here in the Atlantic Provinces? Probably not likely but shit that would kick major ass!!
Maybe you Haligonians could work on setting that up? Not sure if Moncton has the balls for something like that. Instead we're being subjected to a big country concert and a Dennis DeYoung show (has "cancelled" written all over it) for the time being.
Just thought I would let you guys know that the local radio station (C103.1) here in Monkeytown will be presenting the World Album Premiere of Pearl Jam's new album on April 29th from 8-9pm. Even if you don't live close enough to receive C103 on your radio you can catch it online as their broadcasts are available online as well. Here's the link for further info:
I don't know if you guys noticed or not but there is a month of dates open between the late date at the Gorge and when they play Dublin (July 23-Aug 23). Hmmm! The possibilities with that amount of time. Probably wishful thinking on my part.
wishes are all we have at this point, so brush off your wells and start chucking those coins!!!
for anyone in Fredericton, The Fox 105.3 fm is going to be playing the new album April 29th at 8 pm (atlantic standard time) with interviews and whatnot as well.
Not sure which I would prefer. The outside show would rock and allow a more rock and roll atmosphere with having the ability to crowd surf and thrashout.....Although, the metro center is a smaller more intimate setting where everyone has an excellent view (some exceptions) and just feels more thilling for some reason. I say metro center.
