The thing about Benghazi... it is all about those that hate President Obama will find something to hate about him. Remember how in 2009, how he was going to take away your guns? Then, there was the indoctrination of our little school kids to Socialism because of a broadcast on the first day of school. And the N1H1 Flu vaccine that was all about some sort of mind control drug. The Nuclear Event was the Health Care thing. That was supposed to usher in the 'Summer of Rage' and ignite a race war and the end of The United States or something. I'll go out on a limb and guess that had the Benghazi diplomatic mission gotten the increased military security.. and the events unfolded as they did... and those fucking murderous attacker ran headlong into a Marine Unit at that compound and no americans were killed... the FOX News crew would have spun it as President Obama's War Against Libya and stirred the pot in that direction.

And of course, the FOX News watching minions would have followed suit... marched in line and this discussion would be centered around Obama's War in Libya... not the attack on the Benghazi diplomatic compound.

I think the major difference would be... if it were President Romney in this position, the results investigation would be the place to debate by most people, except those on the lunatic fringe and those celebrity authors loooking to cash in on book sale revenues and increased sponsorship ratings points. I think the simple truth is that Obama's team was scrambling to skip past this issue because it was election time and admitting a terror attack occured under his watch would have damaged his campaign. And so it has turned into a political game. The GOP knew this was their hail mary chance to get back in the game so they went after it big time.
Interesting that Petraus got thrown under the bus as soon as the election was over and became the fall guy. Does anyone really think no one knew of his affair? An attractive lady has direct access to him for 6 months and the CIA doesn't know about this? Preposterous.

This has to do with a President that is not transparent as he said he would be, but most of all it has to do with Americans that did not have to die. Thats b/c this administration will never tell us the truth. Informed Americans already know what basically transpired that day through various reports and testimonies. WE just want to hear it from our President that he and others made mistakes, and people died b/c of those mistakes. After this, the President needs to present countermeasures to the People outlining how he will ensure this will not happen again.

Benghazi is different... it was a real event that actually did happen on President Obama's watch. So, there is all sorts of things to latch onto. instead of letting the investigation progress as it should... gathering evidence and witness statements and sorting through them to locate the truth to what happened and how it happened and what should have been done to prevent it... the very same people are picking up farming tools and torches and shouting about going to the monster's house.
I'll go out on a limb and guess that had the Benghazi diplomatic mission gotten the increased military security.. and the events unfolded as they did... and those fucking murderous attacker ran headlong into a Marine Unit at that compound and no americans were killed... the FOX News crew would have spun it as President Obama's War Against Libya and stirred the pot in that direction.
...
And of course, the FOX News watching minions would have followed suit... marched in line and this discussion would be centered around Obama's War in Libya... not the attack on the Benghazi diplomatic compound.

I think the major difference would be... if it were President Romney in this position, the results investigation would be the place to debate by most people, except those on the lunatic fringe and those celebrity authors loooking to cash in on book sale revenues and increased sponsorship ratings points.
