    Wow!! I leave for Italy at 1 tomorrow afternoon. Gonna get to the airport nice and early. Don't want a repeat of the fiasco at Southampton Airport where we nearly missed the plane! :eek: :eek:

    Hey, we'll not be at Bologna...just have 2 tickets after a mix up with the ticket people. Verona and Milan for us........as usual we'll be kilted and mad!

    I guess we'll be at the meet-ups if they are going ahead.

    I thought I'd be leaving for Italy today ... I'm SO excited for you guys going there and seeing the shows. ROCK THE BOOT for the rest of us!! And make sure you eat lots of gelato. It's beyond yummy!

    Since I saw them in Portugal I longing for another show. Are there any tickets for the Milan show left. I only found ticket touts and thats just to expensive for my wallet.

    Has someone a link to the venue webside?

    This is the venue website but they do not sell tickets.

    The tickets are sold via ticketone but it looks like it's sold out already.

    You may want to check if there are fans with an extra ticket on the board. That sounds like your best bet.

    You guys should also check out the Al Carro Armato and especially if you're into wines (Veneto is one of Italy's wine regions - Prosecco and Soave are the local wines) this wine bar (enoteca in Italian):

    Just to share some info published in Italian on another thread...

    - Looks like that the Pistoia and Verona shows are being filmed for a DVD release, according to a newspaper article.

    - Shuttle buses are being organised to get to the Duomo Square. No cars will be allowed.

    - Entry to the Duomo Square will be possible from these 3 entry points:

    1 - via Roma,
    2 - via XXVII aprile
    3 - Ripa della Comunità

    - Show times are listed as 9pm for My Morning Jacket and 9.45 for Pearl Jam.

    There's gonna be a Touring Band 2006... YES!!!!!!!!!! :D

    Coming to Milan to do a review for a website. Ah what a hard life it is. Where is the best place to stay? Looking for somewhere with a good atmosphere and no curfew!

    There are hotels near Assago, the neighbourhood where the Forum is.

    We had to skip the Bologna meet - was raining quite a bit when we got back to the station, the hotel was the wrong side of the city, we'd just done 36 hours non-stop, and there was an Irish bar oposite our B&B ;)
