Gotta love tyrants, dictators and the like. Oppressing the freedoms and rights of others.
Go to hell in a handbasket.
Boy the ladies can march over there though. Better than any rockette could even dream of.
That takes a strong will to keep that up for awhile ... fit and determined.
never mind. he's already at jong un palace dining fine & poking the eyes out of new born kittens w/ his friend(s) of the north.

ok, so what do we have here?
A new young leader a year into his lifeterm.
A new Chinese leader in the first year of his 10 year term.
A new S Korean leader in the first year of her term.
A new Japanese leader in the first year of his term.
A newly Re-elected US leader in the first year of his second term.
Young UN is posturing and I think his balls are dropping, as well as being advised by the old guard military , who I have heard has had a wave of retirements of the old generals.
I belive to ignore him would be worse than our saber rattling in the short term.
Interesting times , indeed._____________________________________SIGNATURE________________________________________________

I saw the brick breaking one before but never saw the air force or navy clips before. wwII jets & wwII battleships? those gunboats are tiny & are firing bb guns. these folks may not even know what kind of ships & bomber or fighter jets we have. they truly may be living in the dark ages as they very well could be uninformed
dudes, your ships are blowing trails of diesel smoke. the u.s. navy uses nuclear powdered ships & submarines. are jets are 4 times as quick as yours & the list goes on.

How on earth do we turn N.K. on to the idea of peace? It won't happen for them unless the people overthrow their crazy leaders. But using violence to gain peace seems contradictory. No easy answers."It's a sad and beautiful world"-Roberto Benigni0 -

I don't know... I don't think anyone knows.
There needs to be a revolution and I'm surprised it hasn't happened yet. It just blows my mind that the people are that indoctrinated.0 -

if its all they've known and all they've ever seen how would they know theres an alternative? imo there needs to be serious dialogue with the NK govt. we need to find out what it is they want... what they need. why they feel the need to be freaking people out. they also need to be told that we can help them and that we are prepared to work with them but that but there is a line and we wont just hand over everything they require if we aren't going to get some rock solid assurances in return. introduce them to the concept of quid pro quo.hear my name

North Korea behaves the way it does for 2 very clear reasons
to extort cash
and
to extort food
They've done it before, they're doing it now, and will do it again

If they want food or water, sure. That can be bartered. Better yet, we can teach them to farm properly and make their own food if that is an issue.
I certainly hope we wouldn't ever sell them weapons...
The kid needs to calm the fuck down first and then I say we can talk to them. Right now, I'd rather ignore them. Kim Un isn't stupid enough to launch a nuke, in my opinion. I see this as nothing more than trying to get attention.0 -

there is no question of ever selling them weapons. that is counter productive, and quite possibly very destructive for everyone involved. sanctions don't work because the NK govt simply uses that to show their people just how 'evil' the rest of the world(and certain countries) are. kim jong-un has sat at the knee of his father probably since birth, so his actions are reflective of that myopic world. the issue isn't about whether or not they can produce their own food. they could if they wanted.... if it were allowed. but it plays more into the govts propaganda if they are deprived and the finger for such depravation be pointed at an outside source. it is sad the people are cut off so effectively from the outside world and equally sad that all they hear and know is what is approved by their govt. I don't really have the answers cause growing up in the country that I have ive never been deprived, nor censored, nor been afraid of saying anything I wanted anytime I wanted to say it and ive never feared my govts retribution... so its easy for me to speak about what I think the issue is with nth korea. and I wish that everyone everywhere had that same level of freedom. and I agree with you that kim jung-un isn't foolish enough to actually launch any nukes cause I have no doubt he knows exactly what will happen if he does.hear my name
