    just my hunch.
They will probalbly send in two GLG-20 ranked agents to get it done. Of course, there will need to be a couple of decoys to throw the North Koreans off the scent ...

Not at all. I am VERY anti-war. But crazy is crazy, and it would be VERY bad for the entire world if N. Korea
nuked anyone. They have been saber rattling for years, now they are flat out making threats to use nukes.
What that govt. is doing to it's own people is criminal.
I would love for a peaceful solution to present itself, believe me. I'm not so sure I see that happening.
Like i said, if it were to happen, i wouldn't be "pro Korean war" guy at all. I would hate it.
But it does seem to be getting to the point of action over words, or in this case, more sanctions.

I know plenty of Marines that have been stationed on the DMZ, and all have said they hate the idea of going to war, but really see no way around it and that it will happen at some point.

On my home from work I saw something I had never seen before...
    made me think of war.

It was a huge black vehicle that said swat on the front bumper but I couldn't read the sides
because blocking my view were 12 camouflaged highly armed men
standing around the outsides of this huge vehicle, as it drove down the street.
I thought soldiers, of course. Looking closer I saw they each wore vests that read Police.

How life would change if indeed a strike was made on our soil.
I hope those making the chess moves got it all together.

I pretty much feel the same way Wolf. I'm generally very anti-war and I wish there were a peaceful way out but damn, this nonsense has to stop one way or another. That may very well necessitate an offensive action.

War is necessary to us, It's a big source of income.
It's nasty and horrible. Can you recall a society that always lived in Peace?

It's disgusting.. but war is good for many countries economy.

I doubt a war will happen in Korea ... too much at stake ... I imagine the Chinese do not want the US any closer than South Korea. I would say the people of NK hopes for a better life rest on the shoulders of China and Russia using their influence and trying to get the NK government to bring in reforms. On the other hand ... I will not be holding my breath for that to happen or for reunification to happen.

A war in Korea would be another no win long drawn out affair ... but unfortunately the leaders of NK do not suffer its the people that suffer.

I thought the bigger threat with regards to North Korea was their conventional weapons. I remember reading somewhere that they have a ton of artillery on their side of the DMZ and it is ready to fire and pointed at Seoul.

Yeah, the south didn't do a very good job of positioning it's capital city, geographically speaking. I think they are less then 30 miles from the border

    I love our message:
    Dear L'il Kim,
Look up. See those 2 black, boomerang looking things the the sky? Those are B-2 Bombers. They are long range stand-off stealth bombers capable of delivering up to 12 nuclear tipped advanced air lauched cruise missiles (each) from a range of 12,000 miles (give or take a hundred miles or so). We just thought we'd fly them over your head, and you and your radar never saw them coming... and you will never see them coming. Which, by the way, they came from Whiteman AFB... that's in Missouri.
Now, you can tell your people what ever you want, we really don't care. Go ahead and tell them that you scared us off and we are cowereing in our shoes from your grand North Korean made missiles... which we both know are a couple of steps crappier than the Mexican made inter-Continental Ballistic missiles. We really don't care what you tell your people... I mean, they think your dad was the greatest golfer ever and made 18 holes in one in one game. So, it proves, those fuckers will believe anything.
But... rest assured... if you turn any of your words into actions, there will not be any warning shots. You will never see another B-2 flying overhead. A full squadron of them will unleash their full load of nuclear tipped cruise missile from somewhere, 12,000 miles (give or take a hundred miles or so) from your borders and you will only know we are there by the distinct sound of the missiles intake. It means you have about 2 seconds to react. After that... the flash you see... that will be your ride into afterlife.
    ...
Other than that... how's the Misses? Oh, and love the new hairdo (yours, of course).

The bad part is that he's a twenty-some year old, with the capacity to do great harm. And just may,To prove his self worth to his people.I was thinking that because he is in his twenty's,He could be persuaded to change his outlook on the World around him.But that's wishful thinking on my part. The North Korean military command know the capabilities of the U.S. Strategic Forces and do not want to get vaporized because of some dumb fat Asian kid.
They will assassinate him and tell their unsuspecting populous that the U.S. killed him... just like they killed bin Laden. They will openly pronounce, 'Death To America!' at their military rallies, but send the Pentagon E-Cards saying, 'Please, Don't Nuke Us (we're only kidding.)'.

My biggest concern is that the North has gotten away with some serious crap in the past few years ... Hell, they sank a war ship ... Took around 50 sailers down to Davy Jones' locker and got away with it.

I think they think they can still pull crap off like that today ... And I think the South and the US have the whipping stick ready for a thrashing if they decide to pee in the jacuzzi this time around ...

I find this whole thing bizarre.
If not so serious it would be comical because:

-The propaganda videos remind me of Star Wars Death Star crew/James Bond/Austin Powers' Dr Evil/Big Brother novel
-The footage of soldiers jumping for joy at the 'successful' strike of rockets on some NK Island
-The footage of soldiers running in the water trying to greet Kim.

I agree. I think the whipping stick is halfway out of its sheath too.

As much as I'm against preemptive strikes, try as I might, I don't see a way around it here unless N. Korea just stands way the fuck down, and soon.

Those films are propaganda films for the North Korean people. Consider the over the top enthusiasm... I've seen better acting in Mentos commercials... better actors in Trojan dildo commercials. The Korean 'actors' aren't paid.. but, they do get to keep their lives, so it is worth it.
Again... there are North Koreans in the Military Command that have knowledge of what is going on in the world... including the massive destructive power in the hands of the United States Air Force. They like living and they have wives and kids whose lives they love, too. They are not going to risk themselves... and their relatively cushy lifestyle for themselves and their families for this overweight William Hung.
