black is a 25 year old writing about love and loss of life.
come back is a 40 year old writing about love and loss of life.

    the parallels are unquestionable.

yeah why on earth would you NOT watch SNL?

for me, watching angels mend was ace. you know, his recent album was produced by none other than rick parashar (ten). funny hey.

  • Speaking of Alex Lloyd I saw him at the Easter Show in Sydney on Sunday. As always, I managed to end up front and centre of the stage! Only a few people there, it was a bit disapponting really. My friends kept looking at their watches wanting to leave, but we stayed till the end.

really, you think it's catchy? i guess in a way. what i love most is the vibe and energy of it. this album has the band sounding waaaay better and tighter than riot act. but speaking of riot act, green disease has REALLY grown on me.

anyway, i wonder how much the live sound has changed, if at all.. i suppose i should bring that up in the given to fly forum.

  • Just some advice for people who havent heard al the album. Don't overplay unemployable, WWS or whatever songs you have heard, because when you get the rest it splits the album in half. Especially because most of the songs that were leaked first were at the start of the album.

It doesn't feel like a flowing album when you are used to half of the songs and not the other half, this happened with me but after listening to the whole album 3 or 4 times through they started to mix together again.

  • Good Call Wade...thats why i stopped listening to any songs.....i dont wanna be sick of them when the album comes out.

  • I've heard WWS sooo many times now, and I think its only at its peak of me liking it now!! Which is a really good thing.

It still gets me everytime it bursts into "Its a shame to awake in a WOORRLD OF PAIN"
