Anyone been to Fette Sau? Reviews?

Think we talked about it a little in this thread. Mixed reviews but I love it. Fixer thought the ribs were a little tough, I think.

The brisket and the bacon are absolutely on point.

Edit: bubbas around the corner is overshadowed but great as well. Dare I say equal to fette sau

    Two other things.

Been to Barclay Prime twice now. 100% the best steakhouse in Philly and my favorite I have been to.

Philly beer week is done extremely well and is awesome

    I think he meant "all-star"

282 16 and 40. I meant MVP. And all 3 are rising at a dangerous rate.

As I have always said you clearly watch no other baseball than the phillies. A power streak does not equal MVP when that is absolutely all you do at the plate or in the field.

    All star perhaps, MVP, moronic

31 games in 33 days isn't a streak it's a trend. The dude's been tearing it up for over a month now. I watch the Phillies you're correct. NL Mvp race if ended toady would have Brown as a top 3 candidate. His avg has gone up 40pts in a month and change.

Well then I agree with you there since every player in the league is a candidate ;)

Good article though. Serious pull power. That would look mighty nice in the Bronx.

I hate to whine about my shitty fantasy team. But I was gonna pick him up a few days ago. Thought about it. Went swimming instead. Came back inside, someone else picked him up. Fuck. I was in the pool for 40 minutes tops. Back to reality baseball, I dunno, I don't want to be a debbie-downer but it's a little bittersweet to watch Dom right now because the Phils won't be able to resign him. If the rest of these schmos get their acts together and we can make a run at the playoffs, then it'd be worth it. But otherwise, watching Dom take so long to come into his own just parlay this year into a nice contract with the Yankees or someone is a bummer.

Utley and Howard have had runs like this in the past but that's not to diminish what he is doing. he is on fire. can't believe they aren't pitching around him yet.

Well that's good. The site I was looking at (http://www.baseballprospectus.com/compe ... -phillies/) had him as a free agent after this year so that must be wrong.

i love that he's crushing left handed pitching too. makes batting him 5th right now and bunching our lefties together (especially when chase comes back) not hurt as much.......and the walks will come. anyone who has watched him can tell he has a good approach at the plate. he's just demolishing anything and everything even remotely close to plate right now.

I fucking LOVED Dale Murphy. :D

I had turned the game off because I had to be in really early today, because I'm leaving early to go to today's game. But I turned it back on just in time to see Mayberry's grand slam.

    Then I was so pumped I couldn't sleep. :(
