  • We booked at Club Quarters for 185 including all taxes and fees. http://www.clubquarters.com/loc_chicago.php Small room but on the red line and in the central loop area. Husband & I were looking for a quieter place where we knew we'd get some sleep after the show. ;)
"Sleep", ha ha! I'll probably be driving back home to Indiana the same night. We shall see.

I just booked a junior suite (2 dbls plus a pull out coach) at the Best Western Plus - Hawthorne Terrance for five of us. Pricey at 269/night but split among us should not be so bad. I liked that it is .7 miles from Wrigley so we can walk it.

Anyone have any thoughts or experience with this one?
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of
arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to
slide in sideways, BBQ sandwich in one hand, cold beer in the other,
body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "Woo Hoo what a
    ride"!

We were going to stay here but went with the Hyatt instead... This place seems cool, $155 a night with military discount..

Booked DoubleTree, $169 (weekday)/186 (weekend) per night. Lake view, looks pretty good. Don't plan on being in the room too often but the wife wanted something decent.

I'm not coming over, but in 2011 I stayed at the Silversmith Hotel, it was a great place to stay, location was fab.
Really friendly staff, big rooms and I got a really good rate via a code on their facebook page.

I live 2 miles south of the stadium and have already booked my bed for this weekend :D

Seriously though, in 09 people had rooms (albeit on a Sunday and Monday night) for $60 downtown! Surprised so many folks are paying $150+ without at least attempting PL :corn:

I guess. But if it were me I would still be trying. For anyone interested in using PriceLine or Hotwire, there is a site called betterbidding.com that helps you determine what hotels are in what areas/zones, and what other people got rooms for.

Good Luck to everyone and see you in July :)
