if you had told me the Eagles would have no turnovers and would score a defensive touchdown i would have thought they would have won by 14+ points. either way it was a must win and they got it.

Haven't seen much since the end of the game so hope Hicks isn't hurt too badly. Man he has been good.

I still like Mathews over Murray.

still way too many drops by receivers.

NFL and NBC such hypocrites too. go on a big rant about Greg Hardy and domestic violence then 2 minutes later show close ups of the cheerleaders and their woo ha's. hey i like the look but really after your violence against women rant?

Nice win. Murray was big last night. I wanted Huff to be good. He's exciting with the ball in his hands but it's never there. 2 weeks in a row, another dropped TD.
    Alright, alright, alright!

As a Cowboy fan I'm figuring if we can just go 4 & 4 over the next coupla months, WE WIN THIS SAD DIVISION. Whodathunk Washington (without their highest paid player starting)would be the only comp.

If they go 4-4, they'd be in great shape. I'll take the under on that though. Atlanta's better...Saints will be desperate at home...Pats...at Giants...Squawks...Eagles rematch and then the Bucs and Phins. That's kind of a tough stretch with Brandon Weedon under center--or Ponder or whoever they bring in.

Jordan Hicks has almost singlehandedly ruined the Cowboys season. Guy's got a great shot at defensive rookie of the year--fingers crossed with the mri!

Hicks for rookie of the year. Offense looked great (except for a few dropped balls again) defense not so much except for Hicks. Almost 300 yards passing and over 100 yards rushing for Dallas?

yeah d is a little concerning....however, the cowboys were fighting for their season and it was a divisional game. i actually thought it was more cassell playing well than it was our secondary not playing well. he was actually on point on most of his throws. and demeco, although with losing some steps this year, has been solid against the run. they missed him last night. my beef with the d was constantly letting cole beasley get open over the middle....and the crappy hail mary prayer of a pass to dez in the endzone should never have happened.

Penalties hurt us and not sure why they didn't run the ball more. They better beat tampa bay next week!

Only bright side i can think of is Dallas lost and The Giants might lose? Also in my survivor/suicide pool about half the people picked the Eagles. If the Bengals win on Monday i'm guaranteed at least 3rd place and some money

what a bad loss. Dolphins didn't even play well and you were 20 yards and one more TD from the game being over before Bradford made two terrible plays and Sturgis missed the field goal on the drive up 16-3. this team just can sustain any success. look really good for the 1st quarter than average or worse after that. what a disappointment so far.
  • JK_LivinJK_Livin Posts: 7,365
Brutal. Why does Austin get snaps? I'd like to see Huff get more snaps just to see if he can turn the corner.

and to think some of the guys in this thread ripped me when i said he was average two years ago.

going to be real interesting to see what the Birds do with Bradford at the end of the year.

certainly something to be said for chip getting max production out of his qb's. got a few different examples at this point...

i think bradford is trending in the right direction. 4 of the last 5 were decent games in my opinion. still tons of room for improvement, but if that trend continues when he gets back, i'd think they try to resign him. damn concussions...

At least I sold my tix for face value on Saturday. Unfortunately that will be the last time this season. 10-6 on the horizon. Had to listen to most of the 1st half on the radio. Quick said there were plenty of open seats at the start of the game. Quick and Reese are awful. You never know where the ball is or what actually happened on the field.

Ugly stuff. I missed the 3rd quarter but was able to watch the 4th at a party which cushioned the blow. It was like being at a comedy show.
