Yeah, the fact they didn't have him within a few hours is kinda shocking to me with all the resources that would have been available at that level. 

they were in ruby red utah. my guess is they did not think they needed a large amount of security, and they definitely did not think they would need any investigators. 

if he went to a blue state you know all of those precautions would have been taken.

I remember the police saying at the news conferences that they are from a security camera so you can imagine the kind go quality it is. So you probably only see a figure in dark clothing, and not worth releasing.

Also, I'm surprised he is using a bolt action rifle.  That seems like an enthusiast, along with the fact that he had a kill shot from 200 yards.  One would think this is someone with experience.

my immediate profile of him in my head is a white dude. since most of them are the ones doing the shootings.

Seems odd that no one saw the guy leaving. I saw some video of him on the roof laying down

if he was on a rooftop higher up maybe he crawled to a fire escape or something on the opposite side of the building. everyone knew which direction the shot came from so i imagine everyone was looking that direction. if they were down low and shooter was up high, the shooter does have the advantage of being able to hide.

Elk, definitely, but not usually deer. If you're good you have sighted in at 100 yards for deer hunting. Elk hunters are usually of a higher standard of hunter then drunken deer hunters spraying rounds at deer running away from them at 50 yards.

-2 football fields
-elevated
-open air (accounting for wind)
-kill shot target
-single opportunity

Even not knowing much about guns/hunting, that’s a pro.

So the conspiracy theories have already surfaced on Social Media claiming it's an inside job and that the shooter was indeed a sniper.

I have also seen posts people are resending of EVERY NFL team and a superstar claiming to donate 350K for murals etc and for his daughters future to be looked after.
