I was thinking Eddie could do a uke version of "Golddigger" with Kanye West. I mean he already did "99 Problems" with JZ it would only make sense.
Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked... in the head... with an iron boot? Of course you don't, no one does. It never happens. Sorry, Ted, that's a dumb question... skip that.

What i really want to know is:

How, out of all the legendary artists listed on the bill, did Jon Bon Jovi manage to get top billing?

Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

    +1

I'm hoping if they go the route of TV Broadcast, let it be a Live Pay Per View event. Charge $40 or $50 bucks to see the whole show. If by webcast stream, go $15 bucks or so. Money all going to victims of Hurricane Sandy.

If they do go Cable TV, hopefully it's on PBS and not NBC, CBS etc.. where it will be hammered with commercials.
  • Brilliant idea.

Especially if they make it worldwide!

That's gotta be the only way that could've happened, but when they seen him listed first they should've went with a different system.

aaaah what to do what to do. I'm assuming tickets will be really expensive. If tickets are less than $100 for nosebleeds i'm there.

Seems like almost too many performers for a Wednesday night, so I'm assuming there will be a lot of forced collaborations which sometimes work out; kinda like a Grammy thing.

I like just about all the performers including Bon Jovi & Billy Joel but would have no problem with an expensive ticket price if it were simply Eddie & a ukelele :D

I am trying to score tix. Event is sponsored by Chase which happens to be my primary credit card so hoping for a Chase Presale. The public on sale is Mon at noon but that will be a fiasco with scalper "Bot " programs scamming all tix within 30 seconds. Presales are the only hope for non scalpers. Fingers crossed. The Jersey Shore is part of my sales territory for my job and I have met a number of people who have lost use of their homes for the foreseable future. I know one person who lost all three of her family's cars. This concert is much needed.

    Regards, Andrew

On December 12, the Hurricane Sandy benefit concert at Madison Square Garden will be televised by HBO, AMC, Showtime and Sundance channels, among others -- including networks in Italy and Brazil. The show will also be live streamed by Hulu, Yahoo and AOL. The show will benefit the victims of the storm across the East Coast through the Robin Hood Relief Fund.

Don't love JBJ at all...but he is the New Jersey Shore...saw him at the now gone boardwalk filming "in and out of love" back in the 80's
he also runs a cool NJ restaurant that helps the homeless...

much love for all he does even if i don't dig his music
