Regardless of who won, I'm just glad that tomorrow I won't be seeing dozens of political commercials, and I can plug my landline back in.

    Voting results not unexpected.

I hope you all liked the last four years, because you are getting four more of them.

Debt now > debt in 2008
Unemployment now > unemployment in 2008
Food stamps now > food stamps in 2008

You all do realize on the economy Obama did everything George W. Bush would have done? Bush would have bailed out Wall Street, Bush would have bailed out the auto industry, Bush was responsible for the first stimulus, Bush let the Fed do whatever it wanted...

Enjoy! You deserve Obama. (edit: i apologize if this comment offended anyone. I want government to work together I just do not think it will happen with the current leadership).

I agree. Which is why the results surprised me. I felt the deciding issue for most voters would be the economy. And people on ALL political sides have legitimate greivances against Obama and the government in terms of it. Millions of people are still out of work. And the wars are still unpopular.

I thought Romney would win precisely because of this. That people hated the countries direction and would vote for anyone who wasnt named Obama.

    Strange.

Maybe the economy wasnt the main issue. But you are absolutely correct. No matter who won, its clear the world and our country is in bad shape.

OBAMAS RETURN TO WHITE HOUSE AS ROMNEYS RETURN TO 1954
    Posted by Andy Borowitz

BOSTON (The Borowitz Report)—America cast its historic vote today, sending Barack and Michelle Obama back to the White House while sending Mitt and Ann Romney back to 1954.

The election meant the end of the road for Mr. Romney, who had been actively seeking the Presidency for the past sixty-five years.

Addressing supporters at the Boston Convention Center, Mr. Romney called his defeat tonight “bittersweet”: “On one hand, I lost the election. But on the other hand, I’ll never have to show anyone my taxes.”

If he had won tonight, Mr. Romney would have become the first man elected President after telling half of the country to screw themselves.

Vice-Presidential nominee Paul Ryan addressed the subject of his defeat in characteristic style, telling supporters that he had won.

Big government. Most of the country wants to rely on the government. If the government was going to pay all your expenses, who wouldn't vote for Democrats who want to pay them?

The country was formed on opportunity. Taking an opportunity and being successful is now a bad thing. It is very, very sad.

Republicans screwed up during the Bush years and are paying the price.
