Did anyone else notice or get a good listen to (what appeared to be) a new song that they played over the pa after the show last night? I couldn't quite make out everything, but I'm fairly certain Ed was singing about prostitues (although he could have easily been saying prosecute as well).0

Amazing show and audience -- the A team was in the house.
Thanks for posting this. A nice overview.0 -

He was wearing the same shirt when we saw him at the airport.
As Rye said, that's a rock star!

I thought the execution of the songs last night came up a little short and now I know why, EV was sick. They were off key at times and it never seemed to really get cranked up. A great time however in Missoula, back in West Seattle now, didn't Ed invite us all to visit him last night?0

This was my sixth PJ show, and I've seen about 150 other concerts all over the USA in the last twenty or so years. I personally thought it was one of the best concerts I've ever seen. The band seemed to be having such a good time, even Eddie, despite his cold. The crowd was extra stoked all night, and there was just such a great vibe in the building. It was like all our moms were there, not just Jeff's.
There were two songs I was dying to hear. Not For You is the song that truly sucked me in and hooked me as a fan of the band, and it had eluded me at my previous five shows. I cannot stress how thrilled I was to finally hear it! The other song I was hoping for was Kick Out the Jams. I thought KOtJ was one of the most rockin' covers I have ever heard. I also really enjoyed what I thought was a red-hot version of Better Man. Can't wait to hear the bootleg to see if the recording lives up to my impression as it was happening.
One last thing: Eddie talking about autographing the dude's "junk" in the sauna. He said something about how awkward it would have been to only have enough room to write his initials. I think what he said next was something like, "Of course, then the guy could do a bar trick, and it would grow, and you could see that it actually said 'Everybody get out and Vote.'" Good stuff.0 -

Wow what an incredible weekend. I love Montana. Just got back to Calgary with my case of Coors original. I love Montana.
Show was incredible. The band seemed so comfortable and relaxed there. The acoustic set was a highlight, but Nothingman was the song my wife wanted to hear, which completely made the trip. And seeing Jeffs mom rock out to Fortunate Son was such a fun point in the show.
Was nice to meet some fellow fans, Jason and Jennifer from San Fran (PM Me!! you guys gotta get up here!! ) and Chris and his wife from hometown Calgary. Missoula was way better than I'd hoped for.
Mudhoney was eating breakfast at the IHOP we stopped at this morning. My first IHOP experience and Mudhoney was there. I love Montana.
I can't wait for the bootleg.0 -
Husband and I, age 55 both in GA (didn't get lottery for reserved) had to do it. Did the huge wait, the numbered Sharpie on the hand list. Met the best 10c fans. Got to front, center, 4th layer back from the rail. legs, back, necks , feet killed. Hot, steamy, sweaty, dehydration to the max. Guy immediately in front of us in red shirt had road kill caliber gas. But what an epic off the charts high energy concert. Wouldn't have missed it. Missoula was a beautiful place. People were the best. Great guy next to us exclaiming, "This is the best day of my life!"
Not for You, Evolution!! Betterman, We're not worthy. Thank you !0 -

It was great meeting you in line while waiting to pick up the tickets F Rhoderick and even better to hear that your daughter had a blast at her first show!!!
That venue was awesome to see PJ in, not a bad seat in the house!

Anyone else think this was the politest GA crowd ever? Rail security seemed to be ready for flying bodies. Bunch of them were telling war stories to us about hectic shows. They were even breaking a dude in, I think he was a fan, he had a big grin on his face the whole show.
Seen them 30+ times since '93, this was right up there as one of the best shows I've seen, rail or no rail.
Bummer about Ed's cold, who knows what else we would have got, Jeff was even ready for Ledbetter at the end and Ed told him no...0 -
Wow What an awesome weekend!!!
The show was amazing... as always, but the small setting was so nice and great company!!!
My husband and I and our two kids and my sons girlfriend (who was witnessing her first ever Pearl Jam concert) had a great time. We also brought along another couple for their first show.
It is so hard to explain the feeling of that first show and the Pearl Jam community to someone who hasn't been there. I told them it would be a religious experience and now they understand.
The pre show was more than I expected, getting to meet the guys from the band was just overwhelming, hard to express with words what they have meant to our lives.
Thanks to all of our friends we got to visit with and hope you all made it back to your corner of the world safely.
Opening song was one of my all time favorites......can not find the candle of thought to light your name0 -
