Wow what an incredible weekend. I love Montana. Just got back to Calgary with my case of Coors original. I love Montana.
Show was incredible. The band seemed so comfortable and relaxed there. The acoustic set was a highlight, but Nothingman was the song my wife wanted to hear, which completely made the trip. And seeing Jeffs mom rock out to Fortunate Son was such a fun point in the show.
Was nice to meet some fellow fans, Jason and Jennifer from San Fran (PM Me!! you guys gotta get up here!! ) and Chris and his wife from hometown Calgary. Missoula was way better than I'd hoped for.
Mudhoney was eating breakfast at the IHOP we stopped at this morning. My first IHOP experience and Mudhoney was there. I love Montana.
I can't wait for the bootleg.
My brother-in-law and I stopped in at that IHOP and ate there as well! We were so starving and that was the only game in town that was still open so we were more than willing to wait out the projected 40 minute wait.
What time were you and the band there? I remember doing a once over when I got there to see if I knew anyone but didn't recognize anyone. But I was also a little delirious by that point in the evening so it would be easy to understand if I had overlooked them.
I thought the execution of the songs last night came up a little short and now I know why, EV was sick. They were off key at times and it never seemed to really get cranked up. A great time however in Missoula, back in West Seattle now, didn't Ed invite us all to visit him last night?
Wow, I disagree. I thought it was fucking incredible, sound wise and cranked wise!
I did hear they were trying out a new sound system, maybe that's already been mentioned though.
I agree with previous posters who felt this show was more than it looked on paper. What a great *little* venue! My brother and I waited in line all day for 10C GA and it was worth it! Aside from a hiccups involving latecomers who thought they should be first in line, it went well. We were about 3 deep towards the center. I thought Jeff looked so happy/proud and I loved when he laughed his ass off about Eddie's sauna story punch line. Mike was his usual self  And I thought Eddie was great for being under the weather. Just my opinions of course. Matt and Stone were great too.
I want to mention thanks to a few people too, while I am here.
Thank you to Pablo from Long Island for hooking us up with the tickets. And what an amazing night for you and your bro!
Thank you Rob from Olympia, WA for buying acetaminophen for me Sunday morning!
Thank you Josh from Minneapolis for giving me a soda and letting my bro and I sit in your chair!
Thank you Jodie from Australia for passing along the hug to me AND for handling the problems with the GA line. It was so great to meet you!
Thank you to the Tenclub woman who was #3 in the GA line who was responsible for the list all day. Awesome of you to care for those behind you.
Thank you to Scott from the Phillipines who offered to let me stand in front of you towards the end of the show  You and Audrie were great line buddies!

what an incredible show. i thought the band was spot on but that might be a post show high. i'll have to listen to the boot but i really thought everyone was on fire. acoustic set was the highlight. i loved when they did that on the 06 tour and should really bring it back. all of my peoples copped to shedding tears during it.
excellent weekend. i love fanboi nation
mark arm at the airport this morning rocking the same shirt he had on during kick out the jams was hilarious
i have a paper here that entitles me to fast track status
In a weekend so filled with the depths and expressions of humam experience- Sunday night stands out as an exclamation point on a life re-galvanized by the infusion of meaning and hope. As a seed with wings- if nothing else. (and that was just my companion's experience!) As for me, The Locals were able to distract me just long enough to disappear into the ether as we collectively became sound and traveled to a place where everything old became new again and the future seemed laced with ramifications...

Amazing show and audience -- the A team was in the house.
V. entertaining Sweetspot! Love it, thank you . . .
And just a quick note about Mike McCready, is he just getting better and better and killing it every time? It seems like after every show people are like MIKE WAS INCREDIBLE! And he is. He was INSANE at MIA and it sounds like he was freakishly good on Sunday night, and at the De Luna and Midtown festivals. And people say musicians lose their inspiration in their forties. Bullshit. Mike McCready is just getting started. He's THE BOMB.
Sounds like an incredible show. Would love to see them in a venue that small. Geesh. Lucky mofos!
Seems like a great show. Congrats to all of those who have shared this. Not familair with local politics, but following the presidential elections on the foot: who is Jon he is referring to? Sorry for the (maybe) ignorant question.
Jon Tester, He's a Democrat ( good guys ) Senator. His seat is under heavy competition and it is important that Democrats retain the power in the Senate so he needs to win.
Thanks... And I agree with you statement. But because the surname (of Jon) wasn't mentioned. I was a bit at a loss...
I really wanted some mellow songs present tense immortality, I am mine thumbing my way would have been perfect, but so would stone being president. He was all smiles!!!!
Sat right behind the hardest working man in the biz PJMC that dude is something else
front row on the bleachers behind the stage, was not my seat i was suppose to sit in
but I dint come all that way for a 4th to the top row seat.
It was still a good seat but wanted closer. You all behind the stage killed it man it was fun back there. When Ed said it was to loud after encore I know we were a big reason, cause they were under us I think. Mike was Mike Got Jeffs autograph after the show thanks Jeff!! The drive from Spokane to Missoula was great coming from a flat part of the US it was refreshing to see some mountains.
Thanks PJ Thanks to the crew Thanks to Ten Club And thanks to u
The best band deserves the best fans hands down
Thats the case for us and them
Thanks all !!!!!!!

Wow Wow Wow! What an amazing show and an incredible weekend. I could have gone to the show, just heard Indifference as a closer, and that would have made the show for me. Always wanted to hear that and I did - finally! Hearing Ghost was a definite highlight. "Bring it on 'cause I'm not victim" - those lyrics have always had special meaning and it was great to sing them live. I loved how they slowed things down at the 1st encore with MOTH and Nothingman (love that song!) There was just an incredible vibe the whole night. Our seats were the last row of section 208 and in such a small venue we had a great view of the stage (Thanks PJ_Rocks - you rock!) I had a great traveling companion. I loved getting to spend so much time with such great board members and finally getting to meet some for the first time. I am so glad I decided to be totally irresponsible 3 weeks ago and book the trip to Missoula. It was so worth it. I love this band and I love you guys I can't wait to do this again!

What a great show. Wonderful set list. Energy off the charts. Thanks for making my daughters 1st PJ a memorable one!
It was great meeting you in line while waiting to pick up the tickets F Rhoderick and even better to hear that your daughter had a blast at her first show!!!
That venue was awesome to see PJ in, not a bad seat in the house!

Great meeting you two as well! The conversation made the line go super fast. I hope you guys had as much fun as we did. Till next time eh?

Did anyone else notice or get a good listen to (what appeared to be) a new song that they played over the pa after the show last night? I couldn't quite make out everything, but I'm fairly certain Ed was singing about prostitues (although he could have easily been saying prosecute as well).
New song? New song? New song? More info please!
I don't have much info and I'm surprised no one else seemed to notice this. It was very reminiscent of when Ed snuck "The End" into some shows a while back. It was a very mellow song (in the same vein as "The End") and really the only line I picked up was something about either "prostitutes" or "prosecute". We were standing around afterwards and I thought I heard Ed on the pa singing something I didn't recognize. I wandered as close to the PA as I could just in time to catch the tail end of it. Defintely something I'd never heard before but other than that, that's all I know. Was I hallucinating or did anyone else pick up on this?

Thanks for posting this first of all!! That's me in the front row center in the 98 PJ jersey in the orange/blue. I knew this place was small and this show was special, but seeing the floor crowd from this angle....I think I am just now fully understanding how tiny this place was.....my goodnesss.

It really was a unique experience being in such a small place. The crowd was DEFINITELY part of the show Sunday night, it was amazing to see.

Saw some signs up near Glacier National Park, one for Lukin, one for Betterman.
Huckleberry pie, yum...
Been to 35+ shows, on this continent & others, that was a GREAT show!
The energy of the band & the crowd were great, exactly what was needed for anyone not feeling 100%, thanks everyone!
I had memories of being at the SA shows last fall, & then saw the announcements for a return to SA next spring, must have been nostalgia for them too
Mike killed it, just friggin killed it!
Can't wait for the bootleg
I am grateful to the band, the fellow fans, the wonderful people of Montana, & for all that went into making this weekend another memory of a lifetime
