The show, the great people I met. The fantastic vibe. All of it still courses through my veins, marks the high water of my recent emotions. The lingering of fine memories........

    That's beautiful Brian :D

    The Manning/Stone-Manning/Tester/Pearl Jam connection:
While in Missoula, I decided, having very much enjoyed some of his other excellent works, this was the perfect time to start reading local Missoula writer Richard Manning's book, One Round River-- an excellent book that tells a lot about the natural history and important events in Montana- the book was very instrumental in preserving much of the health of the Blackfoot river which feeds into the Clark Fork river that runs through Missoula. Interestingly, as it turns out, Mannings wife, Tracy Stone-Manning is the Acting State Staff Director and Senior Advisor for Senator Jon Tester. I don't know if the Mannings were in attendance at the show or not but I wanted to take this opportunity to acknowledge the excellent work of these good folks.

Weird. The very second I read your post, the Fixer came on... yeah, not my fave! But it's okay. I don't mind it; it's upbeat.

Wouldn't have minded just breathe in the acoustic set...as long as it didn't take away from one of the others being played. Would rather hear The Fixer over Got Some if there was a choice.

I wish I had memories of this show. But instead I was having too much fun in Missoula with their people and their generosity (too many free shots). But from what I do remember after missing the first few songs, it was a blast. The whole trip was, from Whitefish, to St. Mary's in Glacier National Park, to Polson, to Missoula. Everything about Montana was awesome, great memories (for the most part) and really good people. Now if I just could remember the show!!!

Glad you made it through our little town on the south end of the lake 8-) I remember a lot from the show...but it's so hard to remember things that you really want to remember sometimes.

How about the weather at Glacier that weekend, unbelievable!! My pictures turned out so nice that I have to frame a few :) Did you take the Red Bus Tour? St. Mary's Lodge was nice but a little pricey.

I used to make fun of others who drank to much to enjoy the shows! Well, the tables have finally turned. It is what it is, and I know now my tequila shot limit is 3, not 4.

We ate our red bus reservation money to drive Rt.2 to the East entrance and through to Logan Pass, after talking to several people recommending that idea instead of just going to Avalanche. Absolutely insanely beautiful!!! And yeah, the weather was perfect! I'm still debating which photos to frame! We were in St. Mary's Lodge, that place is beautiful! Glad you had a great time, too! :D

We did Many Glacier on our own friday so we skipped the second part of the tour.
The drive around the park to Missoula was beautiful and a bit scary at times
