oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

i once had mike wave to me. that was pretty cool.. but it's as close as i've been and to be honest, it's probably better that way. meeting idols is risky.

i was once stood near courtney love in 1994 or 95. she was pretty messed up and i was mad about her. i was too scared to approach her because she looked in a bad mood. i'd be too scared with PJ too.

yeah... especially Billy Idol as he's a nutter :)

I reckon i could chat to the band... i want to ask Ed some guitar based questions... and Stoney & Mike... and i'd ask Jeff about monkeys or triangles or something so he didnt feel left out.

Eddie's moods are unpredictable, but, I'd have to make some sort of contact, wouldn't forgive myself if I didn't…

And again, It's all about the music! :)

And it's a good job Pearl Jam don't have a drummer, or even worse, the best drummer in the world! Haha

Don't worry Matt, we love you too. Soundgarden rule!

To everyone going to the Astoria next Thursday:-

I am driving from Cumbria early Thursday, I expect to be hitting the M6 J36 around 8am ish. If anybody is after a lift to London for the show and can meet at a service station somewhere along the way, let me know (I have 5 spare seats).

Just a few quid towards the petrol is all I ask.

We are returning on Friday sometime (ie when sober enough...;))

See you all in the Bar!
