I didn't get tickets for Reading or Leeds because i couldn't afford it, and i can't afford the price they're going for on ebay.

My girlfriend and I decided to wait until nearer the time and then check ebay again. I'll be in a job over summer so i'll have the money to afford it. Will ebay prices go down perhaps?

Thing is... am I bullshitting????? :p

thing is ..... was the caller really that drunk ;)

yes you probably are bullshitting... but i care not... skip to Scene 12 of that film i mentioned earlier... Dunkman's acting debut ;):p:p
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

Keep an eye on http://www.scarletmist.com where tickets are sold at face value to avoid touts. Tickets usually appear closer to the time when people have something come up / friends drop out etc

I doubt the prices will go down Ross, but I think we'll get em for about £200 each going off the last couple of days

Um... I checked in on the astoria sticky on the porch and people have said that seetickets have been removing ebay listings of tickets but that they're reserved for customer services (they won't be re-listing them). People have been phoning up and asking apparently (last time I checked)
I don't know if that's why they're coming up sometimes and then disappearing again

Anyways, I'm going with 2 cameras :D woop!

Yeah I'm one of the people who phoned up last time seetickets started showing the tickets as available. Must be some glitch in their website but today is the third time I've been frantically filling in my details :(

I haven't really looked for Reading tickets on ebay but when I search "Pearl Jam Astoria" there is a pair for the Sunday finishing in about 18 hours that are still cheap. Don't know how frantic it will get close to the end though!

I keep checking a few times everyday but think for the Astoria gig it is unlikey as people know how much they are going for on e-bay.

I've still got my fingers crossed for you that your ticket comes through!!

Its hard to say, as this has been the fastest selling Reading festival EVER.

A load of people I know tried and failed to get some (its just good Karma for me these last few weeks - Radiohead 2 gigs at Blackpool, Astoria x 2, Reading x2 (for me), and Leeds x2 (for my son), I feel very lucky)

Meanfiddler have said they are hopefull that they will have extra weekend tickets for both festivals (check the website) in May-ish. I really dont fancy the idea of eBay for something like this....too risky.

If it was me I would probably try outside the festival on the first day. (if I didnt get any 'officially').

I once had 4 day tickets (2 each Fri and Sat), and managed to swap for 2 weekend tickets on the Friday (+ the cost of another 2 day tickets).

I thought that was pretty ok.

It will be cheaper than eBay at the moment for sure. You can ALWAYS get tickets outside ANY gig.

    Good luck

That's true. There are some which are really cheap with like 9hrs and i'm talking like £10 a pair. But then they just go mad in the last few minutes. Ah well, can't afford them now so there's no point in me looking any more!

I can't believe in 2 days time we'll all be sitting here going.... this time next week!
(I was gonna avoid the Peter Kay gag but everyone does it!)

Might do... could just be hysteria around the seller but I've put in a paypal dispute and paid on cc so should get money back either way... it's just getting hold of another ticket!!!!
